The South Coast Repertory Theater has announced its upcoming schedule for August through November, 2010.

The South Coast Repertory Theater has announced its upcoming schedule for August through November, 2010.

Two audience favorites from decades past will bookend South Coast Repertory's 2010-2011 season: George Bernard Shaw's mischievous Misalliance, brought to life by SCR Artistic Director Martin Benson, and Richard Greenberg's Pulitzer-nominated Three Days of Rain, directed by Producing Artistic Director David Emmes.

The South Coast Repertory has announced its lineup for upcoming productions from December 2009 through March 2010.

South Coast Repertory will open its 2009-2010 season with a celebration of the music of Broadway legend Stephen Sondheim and will shine the spotlight later in the season on the up-and-coming musical theater composer and lyricist, Adam Gwon. The season lineup includes World Premieres by Bathsheba Doran, Julie Marie Myatt and Howard Korder, and a West Coast Premiere by Noah Haidle.

Our series on 'women who run the show' concludes with MTC's artistic director, Lynne Meadow, and associate AD, Mandy Greenfield.

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced the recipients of its first Bank of America Playwright Commissioning Program. The three recipients are David Lindsay-Abaire, Noah Haidle and Liz Flahive.

Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, Orange County's beloved holiday family tradition, returns to South Coast Repertory for its 28th incarnation. Adapted for the stage by Jerry Patch and directed by John-David Keller, Dickens' classic tale runs on the Segerstrom Stage from Nov. 24 through Dec. 24. Low-priced previews begin Nov. 24.
