WaterTower Theatre Managing Director Greg Patterson and Associate Artistic Director Kelsey Leigh Ervi today announced casting and creative team details for Sister's Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi's Gold, Directed by Marc Silvia, with Musical Direction by Mark Mullino.  Making her WaterTower Theatre debut in Sister's Christmas Catechism will be Nonie Newton Riley. This hilarious holiday special is presented in association with Entertainment Events Inc., New York City, NY, and runsDecember 2- 23, 2016 in the Canterbury Family Main Stage at the Addison Theatre Centre.   This special holiday production is sponsored, in part, by Frost Bank.

A new batch of tickets are now on sale for the Off-Broadway premiere of Jerry Mayer's new comedy, 2 ACROSS, which began a open-ended engagement on November 14th at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Emmy Award nominee Evelyn Rudie ("Eloise") directs a cast that stars Andrea McArdle and Kip Gilman. Tickets are now on sale through March 20th. Wednesday Matinees at 2pm have also been added to accommodate the demand.

ELOISE creator Hilary Knight caught up with Evelyn Rudie who created the role of ELOISE in 1956 on television's 'Playhouse 90.' It brought her critical acclaim and an Emmy nomination at age six-the first time a child actress was so honored. Actress Rae Dawn Chong* (Quest for Fire, The Color Purple, The Chosen), in her first foray into Los Angeles theater, leads a cast of stage and screen personalities in the world premiere of Lisa Phillips Visca's suspense thriller Climax. 

Twenty-nine years after it premiered, playwright Jerry Mayer's hit comedy ALMOST PERFECT has returned to the Santa Monica Playhouse playing weekends through September 27 as part of the Playhouse's three-year Jerry Mayer-a-thon, reuniting Mayer with director Chris DeCarlo. Mayer is based in Pacific Palisades and has premiered many of his plays at the venue, but this one is his first play and meant a lot to him personally - a piece that explores marriage with honesty and humor.

Going back to school was never as much fun or as funny as at Late Nite Catechism, appearing at Bristol Riverside Theatre September 9-13.  Written by Maripat Donovan and Vicki Quade, this one-woman interactive comedy features Nonie Newton-Riley as the irrepressible Sister who rewards her "students" with glow-in-the-dark rosaries or a seat on stage in the corner reflecting on their naughty actions.
