Veteran radio executive Jim Loftus has been named President/CEO of Philadelphia's most iconic radio station WBEB, 101.1 MORE FM. In his capacity as President/CEO, Jim will report to the company's Board of Directors and be responsible for all the day-to-day operations of the station. Commenting on the hiring of Loftus, WBEB-FM Chairman Jerry Lee said, 'I've known Jim for over a quarter of a century and I am very excited about the energy and ideas that he will bring to the table. I am confident he will lead us to new levels of success and I personally could not be more pleased.'

Members of Village Blend will take the stage for a one-night-only performance of Carl Perkins' legendary tune 'Blue Suede Shoes' alongside the talented cast during the finale.
