BWW Radio Presents MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET WEEK! A whole week of scheduling centered around MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET with multiple chances to listen to their cast album.

Hunter Foster, who originated the role of 'Sam Phillips' in MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET on Broadway will return to the production on May 3. Robert Britton Lyons, who starred as 'Carl Perkins' in the original London cast, will also join the Broadway production.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts (formerly the Orange County Performing Arts Center) just announced its brand new Broadway Series for the 2011 - 2012 Season, a year which also coincides with the Center's 25th Anniversary. For it's BROADWAY SERIES, the Center will host touring companies of SHREK THE MUSICAL, BLUE MAN GROUP, IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, LES MISERABLES, and LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, plus 'Curtain Call Series' shows COME FLY AWAY, TRACES and AMERICAN IDIOT.

It's a golden jubilee of crowd-pleasing, hit Broadway shows! In celebration of the Fisher Theatre's 50th anniversary, a solid gold line-up of six sensational shows will headline the 2011-2012 Broadway In Detroit Subscription Season.

On Friday, Friday 18, 2011, Million Dollar Quartet will celebrate its 1000th performance in Chicago by putting a new block of tickets on sale for performances through September 25, 2011. The Tony-nominated musical inspired by the famed 1956 recording session that brought together legendary rock ‘n' roll icons Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley, celebrates its long run in Chicago, a successful, multiple Tony-nominated Broadway run and a London production, opening February 28.

Yesterday Lee Rocker, bassist and vocalist for the Grammy nominated band The Stray Cats performed "Rockabilly Boogie" in celebration of his final performance with the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the Broadway musical sensation.

On Saturday, New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg declared December 4, 2010 "MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET Day" in honor of the 54th anniversary of the real life jam session which brought together Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins together a legendary jam session.

Levi Kreis, who won a Tony Award for playing Jerry Lee Lewis in MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, visited Chicago, where he began the role and performed a concert on November 1. The night before the show, he played with the current Chicago MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET cast in a post-curtain call performance.
