JASON GRAAE, the L.A. DRAMA CRITICS CIRCLE AWARD winner and Broadway and cabaret star who debuted his acclaimed tribute to Jerry Herman, "PERFECT HERMANY" in NYC in October, returns to The Laurie Beechman Theatre in West Bank Cafe, 407 West 42nd Street, on December 7th for two more performances: Wednesday, December 7 at 7 PM and Thursday, December 8 at 10 PM.

Today we are talking to a five-time Grammy Award winning recording artist and concert star who is perhaps best known for her nearly forty albums - most in the gospel genre - but who soon will be taking on the titanic title role in a starry regional production of Jerry Herman's classic musical HELLO, DOLLY! - co-starring Tony-winner Gary Beach, no less - the cheery and incredibly talented Sandi Patty. In addition to discussing all aspects of her fantastic new musical theatre-influenced album BROADWAY STORIES - with tunes from THE SOUND OF MUSIC, THE MUSIC MAN, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, LES MIZ, and the film version of HELLO, DOLLY!, among others - we also discuss her recent concert collaboration with Michael Feinstein and what we can expect from her upcoming dates throughout the rest of 2011. MCC Theater has announced the complete cast for the newly reworked and fully re-imagined production of Carrie, the musical. Carrie features music by Michael Gore, lyrics by Dean Pitchford (Academy Award winning composer and lyricist for the original film Fame) and a book by Lawrence D. Cohen (who also adapted the 1974 novel by Stephen King for the 1976 Brian DePalma film). Directed by Stafford Arima, performances for Carrie begin January 31, 2012, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC). The official opening night is set for March 1, 2012.

Two time Tony Award-winning Goodspeed Musicals, under the leadership of Executive Director Michael P. Price, announced the 2012 musical season at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. The 49th season includes three outstanding musicals that are sure to delight theatregoers: the bold and brassy Mame will run from April 20 - July 1; Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel will run from July 13 - September 23; and an exciting fall musical to be announced which will run from October 5 - December 9.
