Playing Golde in this Music Circus audience favorite will be stage and screen star Adrienne Barbeau, who made her Broadway debut as Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof. Ghostlight Records will release the Original Cast Recording of Barry Wyner's new musical, CALVIN BERGER on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. The full cast featured on the recording, including Noah Weisberg (Legally Blonde, South Pacific), Krystal Joy Brown (Leap of Faith), David Hull (Wicked) and Dana Steingold (Spelling Bee), will reunite at Joe's Pub the evening before the release - Monday, September 24, 2012 at 7pm - to celebrate the album release with a special concert event. The original CALVIN BERGER cast will be joined by several additional special Broadway guests, to be announced.

Tony-nominee Jeremy Jordan will provide all nine voices for an a cappella "surprise" bonus track on the forthcoming See Rock City & Other Destinations original off-Broadway cast recording produced by Yellow Sound Label. The piece was arranged by the show's orchestrator Justin Hatchimonji and features a song from the Drama Desk-nominated score.

By any definition, Ann Arbor resident, author, theatre professional, teacher, lecturer, mother and wife, Jacqui Robbins is a veritable renaissance woman, and this summer has been no exception. A founding board member of Ann Arbor's Penny Seats theatre group, Robbins just directed her third production with the troupe - the musical 'She Loves Me' - which opened to capacity crowds at the West Park Band Shell this past weekend. Robbins also has two successful children's books in print 'The New Girl...and Me' and 'Two of a Kind," and she has just had a poem published in the compilation 'Dare to Dream...Change the World."

As part of the annual New York Musical Theatre Festival, the Paley Center is pleased to honor the three-time Tony Award-winning lyricist Sheldon Harnick-who collaborated with composer Jerry Bock on landmark musicals including the Pulitzer Prize winner Fiorello!, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Rothschilds.

According to the New York Observer, broadway song writing veteran Sheldon Harnick's new musical version of Moliere's The Doctor in Spite of Himself, might play New York in the near future. Harnick revealed that the show, which played the William Inge Festival in 2011, could possibly open at Classic Stage Company next season.

Transport Group Theatre Company, the winner of both a Special Drama Desk Award and Obie Award, has announced that that their award-winning 2010 production of See Rock City & Other Destinations will receive an original cast recording produced by Yellow Sound Label. The Drama Desk and Richard Rodgers Award-winning musical has music by Brad Alexander and book and lyrics by Adam Mathias. The show was directed by Transport Group Artistic Director Jack Cummings III.
