Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, presents the fourth production of its 18th 'X-traordinary' Season Inherit the Wind, by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. The Wagner College Theatre has named Philip Gerson the winner of the 2011 Stanley Drama Award for his play, 'Eyes Forward.' Gerson makes his home in both New York and Los Angeles.

Lyric Theatre Features NUNSENSE, DEAR WORLD, et al. in 2011

The Lyric Theatre on N. La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles, Dorrie Braun, Founder and Executive Director, has announced a season of musicals for 2011, which will kick off on February 11 with the Los Angeles premiere of Nunsensations! by Dan Goggin, followed by the West Coast premiere of Lust 'n Rust, The Trailer Park Musical by Frank Haney, Carol Kimball & Dave Stratton, and concluding with the rarely produced Jerry Herman musical, Dear World.

Roth Transfers DIVINE SISTER to Soho Playhouse; Begins Previews 9/12

Producer Daryl Roth announces that following a sold out developmental run last spring, THE DIVINE SISTER, the new comedy written by and starring Charles Busch, directed by Carl Andress, will transfer to the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) featuring the entire original company: Alison Fraser, Amy Rutberg, Jennifer Van Dyck, Jonathan Walker, and Julie Halston.

The Gretna Theatre has announced their 2010 summer season. Productions will include Nunsense starring Sally Struthers, The Marvelous Wonderettes, The Will Rogers Follies, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Peter Pan, Mr. Hobbs' Vacation, and Mame. The season will begin with Nunsense, opening June 3rd.
