The final song selections for Love Is The Answer, the eagerly awaited new studio collection of intimate jazz standards performed by Barbra Streisand, are being revealed in anticipation of the album's release on Tuesday, September 29.

The 92nd Street Y announces the 2010 line-up for Lyrics & Lyricists, the 40th anniversary season of 92Y's legendary American Songbook series. DEBORAH GRACE WINER returns for her second season as artistic director of the series, as well as one of the shows. 42nd Street Moon kicks off its upcoming 2009-10 Season with its annual fundraiser, this year titled We?re In The Money! -- Hollywood Sings Away the Depression Blues. A one-night-only event at the Alcazar Theatre on Monday, June 22, the evening salutes the whimsical, eccentric, and often, enchanted world of 1930s movie musicals ? the talking picture era.

Titled ...His Lovely Wife, Ira, after an infamous fopaux made by a British radio announcer, Nadler explains his mission here is to explore beyond the 'indelible ampersand attaching him to George' and honor the elder Gershwin's brilliance outside of his more gregarious brother's shadow.

Broadway legend Barbara Cook will return to the New York Philharmonic for a one-night-only performance Saturday, May 30, at 8:00 p.m., conducted by her acclaimed music director, Lee Musiker. Ms. Cook plans to bring to the Avery Fisher Hall stage songs she has never before performed with the New York Philharmonic, such as Stephen Sondheim's 'Send in the Clowns' from A Little Night Music, selections from Meredith Wilson?s The Music Man, and Sondheim?s ?No One Is Alone? from Into the Woods.

Village Theatre is excited to announce the docking of their production of Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's epic masterpiece, Show Boat on the Mainstage. Show Boat will have one preview performance in Issaquah on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, and will officially open the following day, running May 14-July 3, 2009 in Issaquah, and July 10-August 2, 2009 in Everett.
