AOL has put up a Sessions feature offering an in-depth look at a recording session for the Rent film.

The Chris Columbus-directed big budget film of the late Jonathan Larson's Broadway musical 'Rent' was the fifth highest-grossing film of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Reuters reports that the film version of Rent opened at number 5, estimated to earn $10.7 million for the weekend, and $18.1 million since the film opened on Wednesday.
