THE DISAPPEARING MAN Extends Through 1/26 at Cloud City

After a sold-out opening weekend, The Musical Theatre Factory (MTF) is extending their production of THE DISAPPEARING MAN at Cloud City, with additional performances at 3pm on Saturday, January 25, and 2pm and 7pm on Sunday, January 26. THE DISAPPEARING MAN, a new folk opera with book, music, and lyrics by Jahn Sood, and directed and choreographed by Shakina Nayfack, takes place backstage at a small-time travelling circus in 1936. When the headliner is offered another job, the motley troupe must decide whether to adapt to the change or fight to keep the family together.

Very Intense Productions and Your Theatrics (Jeremy Youett and Jacob Harvey) will present Ryan Scott Oliver's Darling, at 54 Below (254 West 54th Street, New York, NY) on Monday, November 4 at 7:00 and 9:30 p.m. Darling is produced in association with Grammy Award winning Kurt Deutsch and Sh-k-boom, and is part of RSO Fest, a series of concerts showcasing the scores of three new musicals by composer Ryan Scott Oliver. RSO Fest launched at New York's premier Supper Club, 54 Below, on October 7 with 35mm: A Musical Exhibition (in association with Tony Award winning producer John Johnson and will conclude with Jasper in Deadland completing the trilogy on Monday, November 18 (produced in association with Prospect Theater Company).

RYAN RAFTERY IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER Plays the Laurie Beechman Tonight

Greenlist Productions presents Ryan Raftery's return to the Laurie Beechman Theatre for his fifth solo show, 'Ryan Raftery is Black and Better Than Ever: A Caucasian Celebration of the African-American Songbook'. The show sold out on March 3rd, and Raftery has added a second performance tonight, April 10 at 9:30 p.m.

THE 411 WITH ALEXIS FIELD Plays The Laurie Beechman Theatre, 4/11

Alexis Field recently appeared as Diwata in the 4th Wall Theatre production of Speech And Debate. She has appeared Off-Broadway in Angelina Ballerina (Union Square Theatre) and Scenes From The Staten Island Ferry (McGinn/Cazale Theatre). Additional credits include Temping The Musical, The Spitfire Grill, and the world premiere adaptation of Tartuffe by Connie Congdon. Alexis has previously appeared at Joe's Pub, Le Poisson Rouge, and the Metropolitan Club.
