Meredith Vieira to Host Our Time's 12th Annual Benefit Gala, 4/28

OUR TIME will host its 12th ANNUAL BENEFIT GALA, on Monday, April 28, 2014, 7:00PM, at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts & Rosenthal Pavilion at New York University, 566 LaGuardia Place at Washington Square South, New York, NY.

Jeremy Jordan, Santino Fontana, Judy Kuhn & More Set for CSC's Annual MUSICAL MASTERWORKS Gala, 5/12

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, will present its 2014 Annual Gala, MUSICAL MASTERWORKS, Monday evening, May 12 at the Hudson Theatre at the Millennium Broadway Hotel (145 West 44th Street). Tony Award-winner and CSC Associate Director John Doyle will helm an evening of memorable numbers from iconic American musicals-a rich and vital heritage that CSC has begun to explore with last season's critically-acclaimed production of Passion and the upcoming production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Allegro.

Megan Hilty, Jeremy Jordan, Billy Porter & More Added to MCC's MISCAST 2014 Lineup

MCC THEATER has announced that the annual Miscast 2014 gala has added Billy Porter, Jeremy Jordan, Megan Hilty, and Raul Esparza as performers, joining the previously announced Zosia Mamet, Christian Borle, Anika Noni Rose, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Steven Pasquale, Jesse L. Martin, Sasha Allen, Keala Settle, and Nicole Parker. Phil Reno will serve as Musical Director. Additional performers will be announced at a later date. Miscast 2014 will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street). The evening will begin with a cocktail hour and gala dinner followed by the Miscast performances. Gala and show-only tickets are now on sale at www.mcctheater.org.

ROCKY hit Broadway last night, officially opening with stars Andy Karl and Margo Seibert at Broadway's historic Winter Garden Theatre. The show features an original score by Stephen Flahertyand Lynn Ahrens and a book by Thomas Meehan and Sylvester Stallone, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the 1976 Oscar-winning Best Picture, Rocky.The production is directed by Alex Timbers, with choreography by Steven Hoggett, and Kelly Devine. Pasadena Pops to Welcome Laura Osnes, Norm Lewis, Jeremy Jordan & More Throughout 2014 Season

The stars are coming out to play this summer with Principal Pops Conductor Michael Feinstein and the Pasadena POPS and their one of a kind, simply cannot miss popular outdoor summer concert series at the Los Angeles Arboretum. Coming off the heels of last summer's critically acclaimed concerts to record breaking crowds, Feinstein and the Pasadena POPS are taking the popular series to new heights. Artists include Laura Osnes ('Cinderella' and 'Bonnie and Clyde'), Norm Lewis ('LES MISERABLES' and 'Porgy and Bess'), Julia Goodwin (2013 Great American Songbook Youth Ambassador), composer/host Tena Clark, Dionne Warwick (five-time Grammy Award winning music legend), Michael Feinstein (to sing Gershwin for one night only), powerhouse singers Maureen McGovern, Patti Austin, stars of stage and screen Kevin Earley, Liz Callaway ('Anastasia and 'Aladdin'), Jeremy Jordan ('Smash'), plus special appearances by Debby Boone, Alan Bergman and pianist Armen Guzelimian.

Tony-Winning Composer Jason Robert Brown Set for Red Branch Theatre Company's Benefit Concert, 3/17

Acclaimed and renowned American musical theatre composer Jason Robert Brown will present a benefit cabaret entitled 'I Could Be In Love With Someone Like You' on Monday, March 17 to kick of Red Branch Theatre Company's 2014 season. Howard County restaurant Iron Bridge Wine Company will cater the affair with Irish-themed favorites in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. Proceeds will benefit Red Branch Theatre Company's annual operating budget. This promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime event given the opportunity to see this prominent composer in a rare concert appearance in the theatre's intimate, 100-seat space. To top off the cabaret, Mr. Brown will accompany alums of TYA, Drama Learning Center's teen professional company, and the casts of The Love/Loss Cycle in one of his compositions during the evening's performance.

Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, two of New York's hottest up-and-coming musical theatre writing teams, will present an evening of their diverse, award-winning material at 54 Below, sung by Broadway stars including Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, Bonnie and Clyde, SMASH, The Last Five Years), Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid, Jersey Boys, Guys and Dolls), Sarah Stiles (Avenue Q, ...Spelling Bee, Into the Woods), Jackie Burns (Wicked, Hair, If/Then), Ashley Spencer (Pricilla... Hairspray, Rock of Ages), and many more on April 1.

On the eve of Valentine's Day, Kara Lindsay, currently starring in Disney's "Newsies" on Broadway, will be joined on-stage by her husband Kevin Massey (Memphis), her college best friend Kirsten Scott (Big Fish), her original "Newsies" co-star, Jeremy Jordan ('Smash'), his wife, Ashley Spencer (Rock of Ages), Santino Fontana ('Frozen'), his girlfriend Jessica Hershberg (Cinderella), Drew Gehling (Jersey Boys), his wife Sara Jean Ford (The Phantom of the Opera), Patrick Cummings (Happiness), his girlfriend, Alessa Neeck (Cinderella), Thea Brooks (Dirty Dancing), and musical director Benjamin Rauhala (Hit List) in a celebration of Broadway romance, both on and off-stage. The evening will also feature bluegrass trio 'Shubert Alley,' featuring Kevin Massey, his brother Patrick Massey, and Jamison Scott (Spider-Man). They will be accompanied by Rauhala on the keys, and Charlie Rosen (One Man, Two Guvnors), who will alternate on bass, acoustic guitar, and drums. This is one concert no hopeless romantic should miss!
