Columbia Children's Theatre (CCT), the Midlands' only professional theatre for families and young audiences will present How I Became a Pirate, September 19-28. Show times are Friday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m.; Saturdays at 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.; and Sundays at 3:00 p.m. There will be a special "adults only" Late Night Date Night performance at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26. All shows are held at Columbia Children's Theatre on the 2nd level of Richland Mall, 3400 Forest Drive. Tickets are $10.00 for children three years of age through adult. The inaugural production will be How I Became a Pirate, specially adapted for the Council's performance space in the meeting room on the second floor at 299 Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut.

After two sold-out Family Festivities presentations so far this year, Westport Country Playhouse will present the musical adventure "How I Became a Pirate," as part of its Family Festivities Series, on Sunday, March 3, 1 and 4 p.m. Based on the best-selling book by Melinda Long and produced by the Omaha Theater Company, the presentation is recommended for ages 6 - 10.
