Broadway's Mary Louise Wilson and More Appear at Chicago's REELING Film Festival This Month

REELING, the second-oldest LGBTQ+ film festival in the world and a beloved Chicago cultural institution for more than 30 years, features a host of events of interest to the theater community. GREY GARDENS Tony Award winner Mary Louise Wilson will be present for the Chicago premiere of SHE'S THE BEST THING IN IT, a documentary about Wilson also featuring Frances McDormand, Melissa Leo, Tyne Daly, Estelle Parsons, Valerie Harper and Charlotte Rae.

THE OLD VIC's Free Festival Begins This Week

Old Vic New Voices announces a brand new festival, celebrating the work of exceptional and emerging playwrights. The event, which is generously supported by The TS Eliot Estate and Arts Council England, will see OVNV alumni join new talent in this five week long theatrical extravaganza.

This Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 May, James Phillips's McQUEEN celebrated press night performances and after parties at St. James Theatre. Principal cast members Stephen Wight, Dianna Agron, Tracy-Ann Oberman, David Shaw-Parker and Laura Rees were joined by a host of special guests including the family of the great Alexander McQueen. THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG Announces It Has Recouped After 12 Weeks!

The producers of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG have announced that something has gone spectacularly right. With their advertising campaign encouraging people to 'SAVE MONEY - DON'T COME' which apparently has not worked, the show that they capitalised in the West End for £250,000 and opened at the Duchess Theatre at the beginning of September, written by and starring unknown out of work actors, has already recouped all of its production costs and is now turning a weekly profit.
