The Flea Theater presents Jeremy Bloom's production of LA BOHEME (SPOKEN), based on La bohème by Giacomo Puccini, adapted by Brian Rady, conceived and directed by Jeremy Bloom. LA BOHEME (SPOKEN) will play a 1-week limited engagement at The Flea Theater (41 White Street, New York, NY 10013). Performances begin Wednesday, March 10th through Saturday, March 13th.

Medicine Show's Cabin Fever Festival To Run Thru February

The Vagabond Theatre Ensemble will be presenting the Cabin Fever Festival throughout the month of February at the Medicine Show Theater (549 West 52nd Street) with their main stage production of THE WENDIGO as the centerpiece. The Cabin Fever Festival was established as an opportunity to create a dialogue among the new voices in our theatrical community. The festival will include a variety of new artistic works from both young emerging artists and seasoned professionals in all artistic fields. Writers, actors, singers and artists in every form have come together in this month long celebration of the arts at a time when theatrical opportunity has become a limited occasion. We are proud to have created a safe environment for new work to thrive. Lost in the wilderness, four hunters venture deep into a world they were never meant to see... Vagabond's mainstage production of THE WENDIGO will run February 5-28, Thursday-Saturday at 8pm and Sunday matinees February 8 & 22 at 3pm with special performances Monday, February 9 & Wednesday, February 25 at 8pm. Inspired by the real life story of a retired French army officer's attempts to set the world record for the longest and fastest free fall, THE WENDY COMPLEX draws upon his unrelenting ambition to do the seemingly impossibly as the creative backdrop for this new groundbreaking play. THE WENDY COMPLEX is a completely fictional account of this story, a fanciful one that worries mostly about the jumper's wife's response to such heroic recklessness.
