Vineyard Theatre welcomes Betty Buckley, Kathleen Chalfant, Holly Hunter, Tony Kushner, Matthew Morrison, Tonya Pinkins, and Kate Mulgrew joining host John Waters (Hairspray, Cry Baby) for their 2015 Gala honoring Tony Award-winning producer Margo Lion. The annual Gala Fundraiser will take place tonight, March 30th, 2015, beginning at 6:30pm, at Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). The Gala performance is directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer (Hedwig, Spring Awakening, Brooklynite).

Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.) announces casting, preview and opening dates for the world-premiere of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' newest play GLORIA, with previews starting Thursday, May 28, prior to opening Monday, June 15.

The Vineyard Theatre announced today that due to demand the world premiere of the original musical BROOKLYNITE will extend its limited engagement by one week and will now run through Sunday, March 29. Helmed by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer (HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, SPRING AWAKENING), BROOKLYNITE opened on Wednesday, February 25.

Five-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb has announced the line-up for SUMMERWORKS, its annual series of new plays. Playwrights Horizons announced today the promotion of the theater company's Director of New Play Development Adam Greenfield to Associate Artistic Director. This is the first major change to the Artistic leadership of the acclaimed organization since Mr. Sanford was promoted from the same associate position to become Artistic Director in 1996.
