Broadway Bares: Rock Hard!, a luscious, modern-day mix tape of sensual sights and sounds featuring 170 of New York's sexiest dancers, celebrated its move to a new home on Sunday, June 22 by raising $1,386,105 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The 23rd Annual HOT!, the NYC Celebration of Queer Culture, will run July 5th through August 2nd at Dixon Place. The world's longest-running LGBTQ Performance Festival, HOT! offers theater, music, dance, puppetry, performance art and homoeroticism for the whole family! HOT! is the pioneering celebration of queer performance and culture - and the oldest annual festival of its kind in the world. Dixon Place is proud that HOT! serves as the model for other queer festivals across the globe and has become a performance destination for emerging talent in the LGBTQ community.

The Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots just celebrated its 500th Performance yesterday, June 19th at the Hirschfeld Theatre. With a Tony Award-winning score by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, a book by four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, and direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, Kinky Boots opened on April 4, 2013 and continues to play to standing-room-only crowds nightly. The show, which has broken all box office records at the Hirschfeld Theatre, recouped its costs in October 2013, after just 30 weeks on Broadway. Piece of My Heart: The Bert Berns Story, an upcoming new musical based on the life and songs of legendary songwriter Bert Berns, begins previews at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center on June 25, 2014, with an official opening night set for July 21, 2014. The Lincoln Center Theater/ LCT3 production of The Who & The What, by Ayad Akhtar, directed by Kimberly Senior, is playing through Sunday, July 27 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65th Street). The Who & The What, which features Tala Ashe, Greg Keller, Nadine Malouf, and Bernard White, just opened and you can check out photos from the big night below!

On Sunday, 2014 Tony nominees Brian J. Smith (The Glass Menagerie) and Adriane Lenox (After Midnight), as well as American-Idol alum and one of After Midnight's Special Guest Stars Fantasia Barrino visited QUEEN OF THE NIGHT. Queen of the Night recently was extended to run through August 31st. Fantasia even had a moment with The Marchesa herself (played by Martha Graham principle ballet dancer Katherine Crockett)!

Building on Slant Theatre Project's success with last season's The Steadfast, the company presents The Cloud, a world premiere mistaken-identity comedy written by playwright/comedian Matt Moses. Wes Grantom (Eager to Lose, The Steadfast) directs a cast of four including Teddy Bergman* (B'way: Peter and the Starcatcher, Off-B'way: Sex Lives of Our Parents), Mikaela Feely-Lehmann* (B'way: Cyrano de Bergerac), Ryan King* (Now Or Later at Huntington Theatre, The Intelligent Design Of Jenny Chow at the Atlantic Theater Company), and Polly Lee* (Marie Antoinette at Yale Rep, Wasps at Studio 42). PETER AND THE STARCATCHER has all the right ingredients to be a standout production: a solid literary foundation and engaging storyline, a top-notch cast of actors, and some truly inventive props and staging.
