FX has ordered a 13-episode second season of the drama series Tyrant, from Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) Award-winning Executive Producer/Showunner Howard Gordon, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, the Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions.

X and FXX Networks have locked in the summer premiere dates for new and returning original series, including the highly anticipated new original dramas Tyrant and The Strain, as well as new comedies Married and You're the Worst. The scheduling announcements were made today by Chuck Saftler, President of Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks.

Syfy, Reunion Pictures and Great Point Media today announced a new mythological drama series Olympus, which will take viewers into the action-packed world of humans, Gods and monsters.

The project 'centers on Nick (Stults), a successful, suave ladies man working as a sportscaster for a local Los Angeles TV station whose perfect life gets turned upside down when his mess of a cousin needs a place to stay. Rupp plays Merle, Nick's sweet, no-nonsense, widowed mother who lives nearby. Anders plays Stacey, the smart, tough lead anchor of the local news in L.A. where Nick does the sports.'

FX has ordered TYRANT, from HOMELAND co-creators Howard Gordon and Gideon Raff and Craig Wright to series, according to Deadline. TYRANT's first season has been given a 10-episode order, which is set to debut next summer.

Producers Michael Alden, Stefany Bergson and Rodger Hess have announced the New York premiere of Becoming Dr. Ruth, a warmhearted, candid and inspiring comedy starring Debra Jo Rupp, ('That 70's Show') written by Mark St. Germain and directed by Julianne Boyd.

TNT is basic cable's biggest hit-maker, with six shows ranking among the Top 15 original series of 2012: The Closer, Rizzoli & Isles, Major Crimes, Perception, Dallas and Falling Skies.

Production is now under way for TNT's Monday Mornings, a powerful new series from award-winning producer David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Chicago Hope) and practicing neurosurgeon and CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, on whose book the series is based. The medical drama stars Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2, TNT's The Company), Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica), Jennifer Finnigan (Better with You), Bill Irwin (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), Keong Sim (Glee), Sarayu Rao (Lions for Lambs) and Emily Swallow (TNT's Southland). TNT has ordered 10 episodes for the first season of Monday Mornings, which is slated to premiere in early 2013.

TNT has greenlit MONDAY MORNINGS, a powerful new series from award-winning producer David E. The medical drama stars Broadway vets Bill Irwin and Alfred Molina.

ET Online reports that the life story of CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta will become a weekly scripted TV series. The 10-episode series will be led by TV producer David E. Kelley, producer of Chicago Hope, Picket Fences and Ally McBeal.

'Better with Thanksgiving' - This Thanksgiving, everyone but Vicky is relieved when her oven breaks down. For once, the rest of the family can enjoy a normal Thanksgiving dinner and won't have to endure one of her unsavory concoctions -- such as maple syrup turkey stuffed with shrimp and raisins. And while spending the holiday at Maddie's and Ben's apartment, Mia accidentally finds her late grandmother's presumably stolen ring hidden in their linen closet... Now the unmarried couple has some explaining to do, on 'Better with You,' WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 24 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

'Better with Valentine's Day' - Casey has big plans for his first Valentine's Day with Mia. But Ben and Joel tell him that their rule is to never buy expensive Valentine's Day gifts for their ladies because doing so would set a costly precedent. Casey goes ahead with his plans anyway, and Ben realizes that he too wants to show Maddie how he feels. When Joel finds out, he decides to compete with them no matter the cost - and gets singer/pianist Michael Feinstein to perform -- on 'Better with You,' WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 9 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

'Better with Skinny Jeans' - When Mia accuses Ben of ripping her favorite pair of jeans, she drags him to the store, where he has to break the tough news to Mia... it's time for pregnancy pants. Meanwhile Joel decides to get himself into shape after he finds out he's ranked last in Vicky and her girlfriends' fantasy husband draft website, and Maddie goes to extreme lengths to impress Casey with her high regard for the U.S. Postal Service, on 'Better with You,' WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 5 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

'Better with Fighting' - When Casey and Mia have their first fight as an engaged couple, Casey implements his plan that stops all arguments cold. In an effort to help, Maddie decides to show them how arguing can actually be healthy for a relationship, but ends up exposing a fault in her own nine-year relationship with Ben. Meanwhile, the longtime married Vicky and Joel quietly resolve their arguments by simply hiding each other's things, on 'Better with You,' WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 29 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
