The Classical Theatre Company's (CTC) first production of their 2012-2013 Main Stage Season as well as the company's first production in their new performance venue and first home, Studio 101 at Spring Street Studios, is Miss Julie by August Strindberg. The production is now running through October 14th 2012. In honor of the 100th anniversary of August Strindberg's death CTC is proud to be producing the author's Miss Julie. Classical Theatre Company (CTC) is opening its 5th season with August Strindberg's seminal drama, MISS JULIE. Comfortably at home in their new performance space, Studio 101 at Spring Street Studios, CTC's production of this taught and intense drama is a fantastic miasma of contemporary social issues, showing that while we've made progress in some aspects, some things are remain relatively unchanged since 1888.

Main Street Theater concludes its inaugural season of the New/Now Series with the world premiere of Walton Beacham's I Am Barbie, a tell-all exposé of one of the greatest icons of the 20th century! With a preview on May 12, I Am Barbie opens May 13 and runs through May 29 at Main Street Theater - Rice Village, 2540 Times Blvd. Performances are on Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets range from $24 - $30, depending on date and section.
