Sundance Institute announced today the films selected for the U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions and the out-of-competition NEXT <=> section of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, January 17-27 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.

The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center will present the first performance in three years of the now-legendary comedy bonanza Beverly Winwood Presents the Actors Showcase. The actors from "Beverly Winwood's acting school" return to the Center's Renberg Theatre for yet another try at Hollywood success. Beverly Winwood returns for an exclusive, one-night-only fundraiser tonight, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m.

CBS FALL PREVIEW, a primetime special previewing CBS's new fall lineup, hosted by Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs of the breakout hit series 2 BROKE GIRLS, will be broadcast today, Sept. 10 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Today, September 9th, 2012, David Youse, FOUR THINGS PRODUCTIONS in association with L.A. WORKS will present an unprecedented staged reading of the critically-acclaimed play, "Steel Magnolias" at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica. In partnership with playwright Robert Harling, FOUR THINGS PRODUCTIONS is honored to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of this remarkable story written for Harling's sister whom he lost through complications of diabetes. This very special performance will be directed by two-time Tony Award winner Judith Ivey and will feature multiple Emmy nominee and Golden Globe-winning actress Frances Conroy, Golden Globe and Emmy-nominee Elizabeth Perkins, Jennifer Coolidge and Golden Globe and Emmy nominee Annie Potts, along with additional cast members to be announced shortly. Conroy is replacing the previously-announced Kathy Bates in the role of Ouiser due to a scheduling conflict.

BroadHollow Theatre Company brings the most fashionable law student to Long Island with their showing of the Tony nominated musical, Legally Blonde. Now playing through August 5th at their East Islip location, director Jessy Waller wonderfully replicated the Broadway production that closed in 2008.

As first reported on Deadline.com, Susan Sarandon and Jennifer Coolidge are set to lend their voices to the upcoming stop-motion comedy HELL & BACK from ShadowMachine. The actors join previously announced cast members Nick Swardson, TJ Miller, Maria Bamford , Mila Kunis, Bob Odenkirk, and Rob Riggle.

Susan Sarandon has joined the cast of ShowMachine's stop-motion comedy film Hell & Back, according to Deadline.com. She will voice the part of Barb the Angel. Tommy Gianas and Ross Shuman direct.

The comedy, GRAVITY FALLS, produced by Disney Television Animation, has a special preview FRIDAY, JUNE 15 (9:55 p.m., ET/PT) and premieres FRIDAY, JUNE 29 (9:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

TBS has acquired the off-network rights to 2 Broke Girls, the breakout hit comedy created by Emmy(R) winner/executive producer Michael Patrick King (Sex and the City) and white-hot comedian Whitney Cummings (Whitney). Television's #1 new series of the 2011-12 season with adults 18-49 and the #1 new comedy among total viewers, 2 Broke Girls is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television and is set to join the TBS lineup in 2015.
