'Submissions Only' is in full production for Episode 8 of its second season, and BroadwayWorld was invited inside the shoot with special guest star Jesse Tyler Ferguson! NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, with music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis), will open on Tuesday, April 24 at Broadway's Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT stars two-time Tony Award-winner Matthew Broderick (The Producers, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) and three-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara (South Pacific, The Pajama Game) and will be directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes, The Pajama Game).
Directed by the Tony® Award winning Terry Johnson, End of the Rainbow will begin performances on Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Belasco Theatre, with an opening night now set for Monday, April 2.
The new musical based on the motion picture "Leap of Faith," produced by Paramount Pictures Corporation and written by Janus Cercone, will begin previews on Tuesday, April 3 and will open in late April (date to be announced) at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street).
Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN begins previews on Tuesday, March 6th, 2012. An official opening is set for Sunday, April 1st, 2012 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.
The Broadway production of Bruce Norris's CLYBOURNE PARK will open on Thursday, April 19 at the Walter Kerr Theatre. The production is now being produced by Jujamcyn.
The Drama Desk Award-winning Celebrity Autobiography returned with its new edition, Celebrity Autobiography: The Next Chapter, at the Triad Theater for two shows on February 13, 14 and 15. BroadwayWorld was on hand to snap the comedic crew, which included special guests Bobby Cannavale, America Ferrera, Gina Gershon and more.
Theatreworks USA hosted its 50th Anniversary Celebration gala last night, February 12, 2012 at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.
Broadway legend and Tony Award winner Elaine Stritch appeared as the Special Guest Performer for the gala, which also featured appearances from Special Guest Presenters Kathleen Chalfant, Nathan Lane and Sara Ramirez.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present Amazing Sex - A New Revue, written by Barry Harman and Keith Herrmann. The event starred Alison Fraser, Jason Graae and Caesar Samayoa. Amazing Sex is a tuneful, sophisticated look at adult intimacy written by the duo who created Romance/Romance. That show garnered Harman and Herrmann five Tony nominations, 4 Outer Critic Circle Awards and a Drama Desk nomination.

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's landmark musical EVITA opens April 5, 2012 at the Marquis Theatre. Previews begin Monday, March 12, 2012. Joining the previously announced stars of EVITA - world renowned music artist Ricky Martin as Che, Olivier Award-winning Argentinean actress Elena Roger in her Broadway debut as Eva Perón and Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris as Juan Perón - are Max von Essen as Magaldi, Rachel Potter as the Mistress, and Christina DeCicco as the alternate/standby for Eva Perón.

The set and costume design are by five time Tony Award winner Bob Crowley (The Coast of Utopia, Mary Poppins), lighting design is by Tony winner Natasha Katz (Aida, The Coast of Utopia), and sound design is by Clive Goodwin.
