InTouch writes that Adam Shankman, who has directed several episodes of Glee, announced at the recent Dizzy Feet Foundation's gala that friends and co-workers of late Glee star Cory Monteith will create an arts scholarship in his name. The cast and crew just gathered on Thursday, July 25, in a private memorial to celebrate the life Monteith, who died at the age of 31 on July 13, 2013, due to an overdose.
UK's The Daily Mail reports that GLEE stars Lea Michele, Darren Criss, Dianna Agron, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Harry Shum, Jr. and much of the rest of the cast and crew of the hit musical dramedy series attended a memorial service in honor of recently deceased GLEE leading player Cory Monteith yesterday.

The Glee star released her debut novel 'Choosing Glee: 10 Rules to Finding Happiness and the Real You,' on May 14 through St. Martin's press. For her writing debut, Ushkowitz took a road different from Lynch and Colfer. Instead of a memoir or novel, she opted to write more of a self-help type book that encourages readers to reach their full potential and most importantly, find happiness.
