A plethora of new production photos showcasing the new West End production of multi-Tony Award-winning musical URINETOWN are now available to view.

Edward Seckerson - former presenter of BBC Radio 3's long-running musical theatre show Stage and Screen continues to host a series of in-depth encounters with the stars of musical theatre at London's Charing Cross Theatre.

Urinetown, the musical, runs at The St James Theatre until 3 May 2014, with press night on 11 March 2014. Urinetown stars Marc Elliott (EastEnders/The History Boys/Tape) as Mr. McQueen, Richard Fleeshman (Ghost/Legally Blonde/Coronation Street) as Bobby Strong, Simon Paisley Day (Sherlock/Musketeers/Timon Of Athens) as Caldwell B. Cladwell, Jenna Russell (Merrily We Roll Along/Sunday In The Park With George/Guys And Dolls) as Penelope Pennywise, Jonathan Slinger (Hamlet/The Tempest/Yes, Prime Minister) as Officer Lockstock and is directed by Jamie Lloyd (The Commitments, Macbeth, The Hothouse, The Pride) at the St James Theatre. A preliminary sneak peek at the new West End mounting of multi-Tony Award-winning musical comedy URINETOWN is now available to view, including a first photo of the cast in action as well as a new promotional trailer.

Jamie Lloyd is directing the UK premiere of URINETOWN The Musical, with music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann and book and lyrics by Greg Kotis. The musical runs at the St James Theatre from tonight, 22 February until 3 May 2014, with opening night on 11 March 2014.

FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY, some of our finest West End musical theatre stars will be performing songs from roles they have always wanted to sing but will NEVER be cast in.

The film will be screened only once on Monday, February 3rd at 7 PM at the Ware Center, 42 North Prince Street, Lancaster, PA. The film is being shown on the big screen at the Ware Center in high definition and high-fidelity surround sound. Also, the films which will make up the Winter/Spring Season of the Series will be announced at the top of the program. The list includes foreign, independent, animated and documentaries that are also Academy Award nominees & Festival Award Winners.

Broadway's award winning composer, Andrew Lippa, visited Urdang to lead a 2-day Vocal Master-class with the students. This culminated with an impressive performance of a harmony composed by the students and Andrew himself; Mr. Lippa commended the students;

Digital Theatre today (25 November 2013) announced that Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Merrily We Roll Along - recently awarded the Ned Sherrin Award for Best Musical at the 2013 Evening Standard Theatre Awards - will be available to purchase online from Sunday 22 December.

Charing Cross Theatre's SINGULAR SENSATIONS - Up Close and Personal with the Stars of Musical Theatre continues with an intimate chat with John Wilson on Sunday December 8th at 3pm.

Tony and Grammy award nominated composer and lyricist of Broadway's Big Fish, The Wild Party and The Addams Family, Andrew Lippa comes to London for the first time this November with a host of special guests. Appearing at the St. James Theatre, Andrew will be joined by performers from Broadway, the West End and further afield as he takes the audience on a journey through his life and career as a writer and composer. The concert will exclusively preview music from his latest Broadway creation Big Fish - a new musical adaptation based on the book by Daniel Wallace and the Tim Burton film (currently previewing at the Neil Simon Theatre, directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman) - and will also feature music from his hit shows, as well as his lesser known works and a selection of 'lost' material.

Featuring a classic score overflowing with standards and a certain rat-a-tat syncopation and sassy style all its own, Frank Loesser's indelible musical comedy GUYS & DOLLS is one of the greatest musicals of all time and the incredibly exciting cast just announced for the upcoming Carnegie Hall concert is icing on the cake insofar as an ideal presentation of it - Nathan Lane as Nathan Detroit, Megan Mullally as Adelaide, Patrick Wilson as Sky Masterson and Sierra Boggess as Sarah Brown.
