Next to Normal had its Canadian premiere last summer when the 1st National Tour came through Toronto with Tony Award Winner Alice Ripley reprising the role of Diana. Now, the show is getting its own all Canadian production in Winnipeg as the Manitoba Theatre Centre takes on the story. BWW is thrilled to be able to bring its readers this first look at the Canadian cast.

Paul Gross, one of Canada's acclaimed actors, will lead the cast of Are You There, McPhee? a world premiere by John Guare at McCarter Theatre Center. Directed by Sam Buntrock, the production will run from May 4 through June 3, 2012. (Opening Night: Friday, May 11.)

CBS is sponsoring its first-ever Reality Mud Run, in which reality stars from CBS's hit series SURVIVOR, THE AMAZING RACE and BIG BROTHER will run alongside members of the general public to raise funds for cancer research through SURVIVOR's Stand Up To Cancer fundraising team. For playwright Beth Henley, tragedies, disappointments and scandal become the surprisingly funny source material for this slice-of-dysfunctional-life play that revels in its own charming eccentricities. The resulting work of delicious genius is her 1981 Pulitzer Prize-winning debut comedy CRIMES OF THE HEART, now playing at South Coast Repertory thru June 6. Centering on the seemingly endless rampage of struggles for the Magrath sisters, this hilarious revival is a wickedly sweet, confectionary delight.
