Upcoming performances of Theatre 167's World Premiere of MOURNING SUN will feature post-show discussions by activists, philosophers, and founders of human rights organizations. The play travels across two continents with its young protagonists. Culture Craver describes the piece as 'incredibly provocative and deeply moving, heart wrenching and humorous.'

Written by Antu Yacob and directed by Ari Laura Kreith, Theatre 167's Mourning Sun begins its World Premiere engagement on Friday, November 6 at the West End Theatre, located in the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew at 263 West 86th Street.

 Theatre 167 is the recipient of the New York Innovative Theatre Foundation's 2015 Caffe Cino Fellowship Award, presented to a company "that consistently produces outstanding work." Theatre 167 previously received the 2014 New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Premiere Production for its world premiere of Pirira.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) in association with The Foolish Company presents Foolerie a Shakespearean Musical Comedy with book, music, and lyrics by Santino DeAngelo. Tralen Doler directs a cast of nine, including Geoff Belliston, Ryan Breslin* (Bway: Newsies, Book of Mormon), Diego Diaz, Ian Fairlee*, Ian Knauer* (Bway: Mamma Mia!, By Jeeves, State Fair), Patrick Massey, Olivia Polci, Chandler Reeves, and Patrick Richwood (Film: 'Pretty Woman,' 'Armageddon,' 'Runaway Bride'). Before their first performance on July 22nd, brisk ticket sales and sold out shows have prompted an additional performance of Foolerie to be staged on Sunday, July 26th at 4pm.
