The Old Globe today announced that the World Premiere musical A Room with a View will receive an additional week of performances and will now run through April 15.

From March 2 to April 8, 2012 The Old Globe will present A ROOM WITH A VIEW, based on the novel by E.M. Forster. With book by Marc Acito, music by Jeffrey Stock, lyrics by Jeffrey Stock and Marc Acito, the musical will be directed by Scott Schwartz. Check out production shots below!

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of A Room with a View, a new musical based on the novel by E.M. Forster with book by Marc Acito, music and lyrics by Jeffrey Stock and additional lyrics by Acito. With direction by Scott Schwartz and music direction by Boko Suzuki, A Room with a View will run March 2 - April 8, 2012 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run March 2 - March 9. Opening night is Saturday, March 10 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are currently available by subscription only. Single tickets will go on sale on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 12:00 noon. Citilites Theatre presents a late night show, making a sort of double bill for theatre patrons after they take in THE CRUMPLE ZONE, with the short musical, SONGS FROM AN UNMADE BED. Fortunately, it's well worth staying over for (although I took in a Sunday matinee performance), featuring a terrific performance from Justin Ivan Brown. It's a collection of eighteen songs by various composers, but all featuring the pithy and amusing lyrics of Mark Campbell. The brevity of the show, which runs about an hour, is perfectly suited to the material, and easily outshines the production that plays before it.
