New York-based Houses on the Moon Theater Company and Mumbai-based Anekant Productions are proud to present the second installment of The Q Story Stream, a series of storytelling performances in Los Angeles and Mumbai, India in which live, true stories from queer storytellers in each city are presented. With the help of livestreaming and recorded video, LA-based artists are presented alongside storytellers from halfway across the planet. The performance in Los Angeles will take place on Thursday, June 20th at 8pm at Art Share L.A., located at 801 E. 4th Pl., Los Angeles.

A Southern Fairytale, written by and starring Broadway World award-winning actor Ty Autry and directed by David L. Carson, will be heading to Atlanta, Georgia for a one-night-only event at Out Front Theatre Company straight off its international success in Dublin, Ireland at the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival (IDGTF) where it was nominated for the Doric Wilson Award for Intercultural Dialogue for exposing the role of conversion therapy and evangelicalism in dehumanizing LGTBQ people. After the hour-long piece, there will be an inter-faith queer panel featuring Kevin Garcia, Charles Thomas, Myles M, and Kelly Wentworth.

Houses on the Moon Theater Company will honor award-winning producer Nelle Nugent at their 7th Annual Gala Fundraiser "Amplify 2019" on Monday evening, October 7, 2019 at The Cutting Room

A SOUTHERN FAIRYTALE, written by and starring Broadway World-award winner actor Ty Autry and directed by David L. Carson, will make its New York City premiere with a limited run as part of NYSummerfest on September 13, 15 and 16.

Houses on the Moon Theater Company, as part of the inaugural season of Next Door at New York Theatre Workshop, presents the return engagement of the acclaimed documentary play DE NOVO, written and directed by Jeffrey Solomon, originally produced by the company in 2010. Performances began December 1, 2017 for a limited engagement through Friday, December 22, 2017. Rubicon Theatre Company celebrates Black History Month with THE DEVIL'S MUSIC: THE LIFE AND BLUES OF BESSIE SMITH, starring singer and actress Miche Braden of the original Off-Broadway production (named one of the 10 Best Off-Broadway productions of the year by the N.Y. Daily Times). Described by CBC as a, "bawdy, bluesy, boozy rollicking night out at the theatre," the show follows the life, loves and career of blues and jazz singer Bessie Smith, called the "Empress of the Blues."

Theater for the New City presents Suddenly, A Knock at the Door, a new play based on stories by award winning Israeli author and filmmaker Etgar Keret written by Robin Goldfin with live music composed by Oren Neiman and performed by Oren Neiman & Gilad Ben-Zvi. David L. Carson* directs a cast of 6, including Jeffrey Swan Jones*,Antonio Minino, Alyssa Simon*, Kenneth Talberth*, Stephen Thornton, and Elanna White. Fourteen performances will be staged from June 2-19, 2016 at Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue (between 9th and 10th Streets) in New York City's East Village.

The critically-acclaimed Houses on the Moon Theater Company, creates ground-breaking work for the stage created through partnership with marginalized communities (including migrant youth, LGBT refugees, and survivors of gun violence). Their work has been presented Off Broadway, across the U.S. and Latin America.
