Playwrights Foundation (PF) and the New York-based company The One-Minute Play Festival are thrilled to announce the final casting for the 5th Annual SF One-Minute Play Festival (#1MPF), December 15th and 16th, 2014 - an evening of 86 brand- new one-minute plays by a highly vaunted group of 50 Bay Area playwrights, all written within the past month specially for the event.

Millennials are graduating from college with high hopes, high debt, and long odds of finding a decent job. Without meaningful work, it is easy for their lives to feel meaningless. Playwright Jeffrey Lo examines this dilemma in his new comedy-drama Dealing Dreams. On June 14 at2:30pm, the Orange County Playwrights Alliance proudly presents a staged reading of the work at Anaheim's popular Stage Door Repertory Theatre. This is the latest installment of the OCPA Studios full-length play reading series. Andy Lowe (East West Players) directs this reading; 50% of the box office proceeds from this event go to SDRT.

The Playwrights Foundation (PF) joins with the legendary One-­Minute Play Festival (#1MPF) for three performances only, on Saturday, December 14thAt 8pm & Sunday December 15th At 3pm and 8pm at The Thick House, on Potrero Hill in San Francisco. "A night of 70 one-minute plays by phenomenally talented writers is an incredible journey, a veritable thrill-ride for audiences..." states PF's Artistic Director, Amy Mueller who has been working with D'Andrea on the SF OMPF for four years. "...A fast-paced, fun evening, where your mind and heart get twisted and turned for 70 minutes of nonstop theater."
