Comedy Central unveils its winter schedule with new seasons of “@midnight,” “Kroll Show,” “Workaholics,” “Tosh.0,” and “Inside Amy Schumer” and new series including “Broad City.”

Start the New Year off with a song! And why not make it a brand new song, in a brand new musical, written especially for -and acted by - teens! For the first time ever, Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE program will premiere a Village Original production; Rocket Science debuted with much acclaim as a 2009 Village Originals production and is based on HBO Films' Rocket Science written by Jeffrey Blitz. The 17 local teens performing in this production have the additional thrill of working with the show creators: Patricia Cotter (book), Stephen Weiner (music) and Jason Rhyne (lyrics). For this production Steve Tomkins will direct and Tim Symons is the musical director.

Lemon, a new documentary about the acclaimed New York poet/playwright Lemon Andersen, will have its broadcast premiere on PBS as part of Latino Public Broadcasting's arts and culture series VOCES tonight, October 19, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 p.m. ET (check local listings), in conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month. Produced and directed by Laura Brownson and Beth Levison, Lemon is a Russell Simmons presentation in association with Impact Partners.

Sundance Institute announced today the lineup of films selected to screen in the U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions for the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Matt Weaver & Scott Prisand, two of ROCK OF AGES' lead producers and co-owners of the LA-based Corner Store Entertainment, have two films in the top dramatic category at Sundance Film Festival. The films, which star a host of stage stars, are SYMPATHY FOR DELICIOUS (Mark Ruffalo, Laura Linney, Orlando Bloom and Juliette Lewis) and HESHER (Natalie Portman and Joseph Gordon Levitt).
