Opening Thursday, August 4, DLC Summer Stage is pleased to announce their production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Performances will be held at the Drama Learning Center from August 4-13 (complete schedule is below). Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is directed and choreographed by Jason Kimmell with by music direction is by Juliana Marin.

Performances will be held at the Drama Learning Center from August 5-14 (complete schedule is below). The Producers once again sets the standard for modern, outrageous, in-your-face humor. With a truly hysterical book co-written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan (Annie) and music and lyrics by Mr. Brooks, The Producers skewers Broadway traditions and takes no prisoners as it proudly proclaims itself an 'equal opportunity offender!' The 2001 Broadway Production broke all records and won a record 12 Tony Awards - including BEST MUSICAL - More than any other musical EVER!

The audience arrives to find the cast immersed in rehearsal for the musical version of Reservoir Dogs, only to see it transmogrify from gunplay to swordplay, and from contemporary songs of violence to classic words of romance.

Backstage Bar announces July events with cabaret at Theater Square. Backstage Bar is a project of The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, located in Theater Square at 655 Penn Avenue. Hours are Tuesday-Thursday, 5 p.m. - midnight; Friday, 5 p.m. - 1 a.m.; Saturday, 5 p.m.-2 a.m.; Sunday, noon - 6 p.m.; closed on Monday. There is no cover charge and happy hour is 9-11pm.
