SkyPilot Theatre Company Inc., a non-profit theatre company in Los Angeles presents YES SVETLANA, THERE IS A GRANDFATHER FROST, a play by Jeff Goode at The Luna Playhouse, 3706 San Fernando Rd., Glendale, CA 91204 from November 13, 2010 - December 19, 2010. The show runs fridays and saturdays at 8:00 PM and sundays at 7:00 PM. The production is directed by Gideon Potter and stars Lisa Younger, Erika Godwin, Morry Shorr, Tyler Rhoades, Ken Lyle and Bob Rusch.

Allison Bibicoff is ready to turn her dancers loose for tonight's opening of SAVIN' UP FOR SATURDAY NIGHT. She originally choreographed the musical for its run at Sacred Fools Theatre Company last fall and the new co-production with The Grove Theatre in Upland amps up the fun for a show that played to sold out audiences here in Los Angeles and was extended due to popular demand.

While religious wars swept the country and kept the Protestants and the Catholics at each others' throats, the sects live and have lived together without incident in the city for years, primarily due to the charismatic priest Father Urbain Grandier, who acts as a kind of second Governor of the town, loved and respected (despite his frequent and well-known personal transgressions, mostly involving the women of Loudon), but also due to its secure battlements, which keep the city separate and self-sustaining (and whose security has been guaranteed by King Louis the XIII).

The Chance Theater has added to performances - Mondays, December 14 and 21, at 8PM - to the run of its 6th annual production of The Eight: Reindeer Monologues, an outrageous adult look at life as one of Santa's reindeer after a controversy breaks out at the North Pole. The show runs until December 21.
Santa's reindeer gather at their private North Pole watering hole, and as the booze flows, the scandal grows. Alternately hilarious & disturbing, nothing is held sacred as the reindeer expose all of Santa's (& their own) indiscretions. Screaming, crying and WAY too much eggnog... isn't that what Christmas is all about?
A wickedly funny alternative to traditional candy-cane cheer. Scandal erupts at the North Pole when one of Santa's eight tiny reindeer accuses him of sexual harassment. As the mass media descends upon the event, the other members of the sleigh team demand to share their perspectives, and a horrific tale of corruption and perversion emerges -which seems to implicate everyone from the teeniest elf to the tainted Saint himself.
