SILENCE! THE MUSICAL Halloween Deals Continue thru Nov 4

Prospect Theater's Revised Version of Stephen Schwartz's WORKING Comes to 59E59 Theaters, 12/1-30

59E59 Theaters has announced the Prospect Theater Company production of WORKING, from the book by Studs Terkel, adapted by Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso, with additional contributions by Gordon Greenberg. Songs are by Craig Carnelia, Micki Grant, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mary Rodgers & Susan Birkenhead, Stephen Schwartz, and James Taylor. Directed by Gordon Greenberg, WORKING begins performances on Saturday, December 1 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 30.

Original cast member Stephen Bienskie is set to return as serial killer Buffalo Bill in Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical Halloween night at the new Elektra Theatre in Times Square.

Lindsay Shaw, best known for playing Jennifer Ann 'Moze' Mosely on the Nickelodeon series Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and as Paige McCullers on the ABC Family hit drama Pretty Little Liars and Chad Allen came to see SILENCE! PETER AND THE STARCATCHER to Host Halloween Costume Party, 10/30

The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony® Award-winning play by Rick Elice which tells the back story of Peter Pan, announced today that the show will host a post-performance Halloween costume party on stage at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) on Tuesday, October 30. Both the young and the young at heart are encouraged to come to the 7:00 PM performance on Halloween Eve of Peter and the Starcatcher in their best Peter Pan inspired attire. After the show, ticket holders dressed in costume will be invited on stage to meet the cast and participate in a group photo.

SILENCE! THE MUSICAL Begins Saturday Matinees Tomorrow

Due to overwhelming demand, SILENCE! The Musical has just added two performances to the weekly playing schedule (as of October 23rd) at the Elektra Theatre in Times Square: Tuesdays at 7 PM and Saturday matinees at 2 PM.

The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony Award-winning play by Tony Award-nominee Rick Elice, announced today that Starcatcher has assembled a special behind-the-scenes team to help raise awareness and funds for men's health issues by letting their moustaches grow throughout the month of November as part of Movember.

HARPER REGAN Star Madeleine Martin to Appear on WLNY’s 'Live from the Couch', 10/17

Madeleine Martin, currently starring in Atlantic Theater Company's production of HARPER REGAN, will join hosts John Elliot, Lisa Kerney and Carolina Bermudez on WLNY's "Live from the Couch" tomorrow morning, October 17 in the 7:30 AM half-hour. In addition to performing off-Broadway, Madeleine Martin also stars in the hit Showtime series "Californication" and has appeared on Broadway in August: Osage County and The Pillowman.

BWW Reviews: Reinvented JEKYLL & HYDE is an Exciting Electric Experience

Frank Wildhorn's JEKYLL & HYDE has been reinvented and completely reworked. The new production is not a revival of the show, but a revisal-a reimagining of the material for a contemporary audience. Over the course of a whirlwind 25 weeks, this production is touring the nation before it opens in April 2013 on Broadway. OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES' Marilyn Sokol to Appear on WBAI Radio, Oct 6

Marilyn Sokol, currently featured in OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES, will be a guest on WBAI Radio (99.5 FM) tomorrow, Saturday October 6 in the 9 AM hour. The Emmy Award winner will chat with host David Rothenberg about the off Broadway hit, and about her career, which includes such highlights as flashing the audience on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson (by mistake), being both a voice and puppeteer on Sesame Street, and having her Dial-A-Jokes on record at The Smithsonian Institute.
