CIRCKOPOLIS to Open FirstWorks' Season at Providence Performing Arts Center, 11/1-2

The FirstWorks season kicks off at the Providence Performing Arts Center with Cirkopolis, Friday, November 1, 2013 at 7:30pm and Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 4:00pm. A spectacular show by Quebec-based Cirque Eloize (pronounced [sirk el-waz]) that transports performers-and spectators of all ages-between dream and reality in an uninterrupted stream of dazzling acrobatics, illusions and imagery.

Cirque Eloize's CIRKOPOLIS to Play NYU Skirball Center, 12/18-1/5

NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts will present the New York City premiere ofCIRKOPOLIS, the critically acclaimed show by Montreal-based troupe Cirque Eloize for a strictly limited engagement beginning Wednesday, December, 18th, 2013 and concluding on Sunday, January 5th, 2014 at NYU Skirball Center (566 LaGuardia Place, New York, New York, 10012).

DuPont Theatre to Welcome Cirque Eloize's CIRKOPOLIS, 10/1-6

After traveling through Europe, Cirkopolis, Cirque Eloize's latest production co-directed by Dave St-Pierre and Jeannot Painchaud, will be presented for the first time in Wilmington, Delaware at the DuPont Theatre from October 1-6, 2013 for eight (8) performances only.

NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts Announces 10th Season

NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce programming for its tenth season, 2013-14. In its first decade, NYU Skirball has made substantial contributions not only to the community surrounding the country's largest private university, but also to a broader cultural landscape. In recent years, Executive Director Michael Harrington has used the venue-which, with 860 seats and state-of-the-art production capabilities, is unique in downtown Manhattan-to provide a platform for artists from around the world and from the facility's Greenwich Village neighborhood to practice their craft on a larger scale. In addition to multiple-night or -week runs (Joshua Light Show, Not by Bread Alone, Shlemiel the First), NYU Skirball Center hosts a range of singular events, such as a dialogue between David Byrne and Ahmir '?uestlove' Thompson, Reggie Watts in concert, Comedian Rob Delaney and the and season 2 premiere of HBO's "Girls."

CIRKOPOLIS Makes North American Debut at Proctors, Now thru 8/24

Proctors recently signed a five-year commitment with Cirque Eloize. Proctors joined Cirque Eloize to become the summer home for their productions during the month of August. In addition to performances, Cirque Eloize will be hosting summer camps at the Proctors School of the Performing Arts for children interested in this exciting discipline.
