Dan Brambilla, CEO of the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts, proudly announced details of the 2010-2011 season today. Following two years of renovations and restorations the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts will re-open its doors on Friday, October 1, 2010, exactly fifty years to the date of the first opening night performance, October 1, 1960.

Direct from a sold-out engagement in Montreal, world-renowned Cirque Eloize will open the newly renovated Sony Centre For The Performing Arts with its critically-acclaimed new production iD. Described as 'West Side Story gone hip-hop circus', iD will run for six performances only October 1 to 9, 2010.

Cirque Eloize & Teatro Sunil Present NEBBIA at Buell Theatre 4/28 -4/29

Premier French Canadian circus Cirque Eloize has teamed with the Swiss acrobatic theatre troupe Teatro Sunil to create NEBBIA, a vibrant production featuring contemporary circus arts, music, dance and theatre. The show, helmed by the acclaimed director Daniele Finzi Pasca (Cirque du Soleil's Corteo), plunges audiences into a fantastical world of dreams, imagination and the unexpected. NEBBIA - Italian for 'fog' - will play Denver's Buell Theatre April 28 and 29 for two shows only. Tickets go on sale Sunday, March 22 at 10am.
