This summer New York City Ballet will return to Paris, France for the first time since 2008, for three weeks of performances at the The?a?tre du Cha?telet -- June 28 through July 16, 2016. The engagement will mark the 12th edition of Les Ete?s de la Danse, the annual summer dance festival that since 2005 has presented international dance companies for three weeks of performances in the French capital, and will also mark the tenth time that NYCB has performed in Paris since the Company's founding in 1948.

The Theatre du Chatelet and Weinstein Live Entertainment will partner to present the Parisian production SINGIN' IN THE RAIN  on Broadway and around the world.

Now according to the Wrap, Harvey Weinstein has plans to bring the production to Broadway following its run in Paris, which is set to conclude on January 17.

On May 22, 2015, the Art Institute of Chicago joins forces with the Arts Club of Chicago to host a pair of exhibitions featuring the work of world-renowned photographer Jean-Luc Mylayne (French, born 1946). The exhibitions, entitled Jean-Luc Mylayne: Mutual Regard, unite inside and outside, nature and culture, and bring together again two Chicago institutions that have deep historical ties. A third venue, a Chapel pavilion in the Millennium Park Lurie Garden, is a key realization of the exhibition themes in public space. Mutual Regard runs through August 23, 2015 at The Art Institute of Chicago's Bucksbaum Gallery in the Modern Wing; through August 13 at the Arts Club of Chicago (201 East Ontario), and through December 31 in the Lurie Garden in Millennium Park.

The Broadway run of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS will begin previews Friday, March 13, 2015 for a Sunday, April 12, 2015 opening night at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street).

Principal casting has been announced for the upcoming world premiere production of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. The cast will include Robert Fairchild as Jerry Mulligan, Leanne Cope as Lise Dassin, Veanne Cox as Madame Baurel, Jill Paice as Milo Davenport, Brandon Uranowitz as Adam Hochberg, and Max Von Essen as Henri Baurel.

The new musical, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, has targeted Broadway for the spring of 2015 following its world premiere in December, 2014 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. It will be directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon, making his Broadway directing debut. Featuring music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by Tony and Pulitzer Prize nominee Craig Lucas, the creative team also includes Tony Award winners Bob Crowley (sets and costumes), Natasha Katz (lighting) and Scott Lehrer (sound) with a musical score adapted and supervised by Rob Fisher. The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today that the 51st New York Film Festival (NYFF,September 27 – October 13) will serve as the launching pad for a retrospective of filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard's work. The film series, entitled Jean-Luc Godard - The Spirit of the Forms, will begin during the second week of the festival, on October 9, and continue through the end of the month, October 30. (Specifics for the schedule and titles playing after NYFF will be distributed next week.) This year's NYFF will also play host to the 20th Anniversary screening of Richard Linklater's DAZED AND CONFUSED on October 10 at 9PM, presented by New Wave, and with the director and members of the cast in attendance.
