Theatre de la Ville-Paris Launches RHINOCEROS US Tour - LA, Berkeley, Ann Arbor - Today, 9/21

David Eden Productions has announced initial details of a major US tour, presenting today, September 21 and September 22, 2012 the American premiere engagement of the Theatre de la Ville-Paris production of Rhinoceros, by Eugene Ionesco, directed by Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota, in Los Angeles at Center for the Art of Performance at UCLA (CAP UCLA), with subsequent presentations to follow in Berkeley at Cal Performances on September 27, 28, and 29 (matinee), and in Ann Arbor at University Musical Society (UMS) on October 11, 12, and 13.

David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place) will play the lead in 1,000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story, the true story of a young basketball player who suffered a catastrophic stroke as a freshman at Gettysburg College but through determination and an indomitable spirit returned to the court for one remarkable moment in the last game of his senior year. The chances of him surviving the stroke at all were bleak. The odds of him returning to the court were astronomical. Multiple Emmy® nominee Beau Bridges (Without Warning: The James Brady Story, The Descendants) stars as the Gettysburg College basketball coach George Petrie and Jean Louisa Kelly (Mr. Holland's Opus, Yes, Dear) plays Cory's mother Tina, a physical therapist who became her son's partner in a long recovery.

Two long-running, family-oriented sitcoms REBA and YES, DEAR make their way to CMT this Fall as part of a multi-year licensing deal with Twentieth Television. Syndicated episodes of REBA and YES, DEAR will air in weekday blocks beginning today, August 1. The network will also air seven straight hours of REBA as part of a fan-voted marathon on Saturday, August 18.
