Fish In the Dark, the new comedy starring and written by Larry David, the creator and star of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm and co-creator of Seinfeld, begins previews at Broadway's Cort Theater tonight, February 2nd and open on March 5 for a limited 18-week engagement through Sunday, June 7. FISH IN THE DARK, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, will mark Larry David's Broadway debut and will feature Jayne Houdyshell, Jake Cannavale, Jonny Orsini, Rosie Perez, and Jerry Adler.

Fish In the Dark, the new comedy starring and written by Larry David, the creator and star of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm and co-creator of Seinfeld, begins previews at Broadway's Cort Theater on February 2nd and open on March 5 for a limited 18-week engagement through Sunday, June 7. Earlier this month, BroadwayWorld reported that the show had already earned over $11 million in advance ticket sales, and the number has only grown since. BroadwayWorld has just confirmed that advance ticket sales have surpassed $13.5 million, breaking a play pre-sale record, previously held by Betrayal, of $13.05 million.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents a new Off-Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine's Tony Award-winning Into the Woods. Directed by Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld, this production premiered in May 2013 at the McCarter Theatre in association with the Fiasco Theater. Into the Woods officially opened last night, January 22, 2015 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This is a limited engagement thru March 22, 2015.

Fish In the Dark, the new comedy starring and written by Larry David, the creator and star of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm and co-creator of Seinfeld, begins previews at Broadway's Cort Theater on February 2nd and open on March 5 for a limited 18-week engagement through Sunday, June 7. According to the New York Post, the show is already bringing in major money at the box office. The play has already earned over $11 million in advance ticket sales, according to Michel Riedel, and it could reach $13 million by the time it opens in March.

Noted Canadian playwright and director Panych, a two-time recipient of the Governor General's Literary Award, makes his Arena Stage debut with an expertly drawn cast of oddball characters and a high-stakes battle of wills involving a career shoplifter whose life of petty crime is halted by an overzealous rookie security guard and his ambivalent mentor. The Shoplifters runs tonight, September 5, through October 19, 2014 in the Kreeger Theater.

Tickets go on sale today for FISH IN THE DARK, the new comedy starring and written by Larry David, the creator and star of HBO's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' and co-creator of 'Seinfeld.' FISH IN THE DARK, to be directed by Anna D. Shapiro, will mark Larry David's Broadway debut and will feature Jayne Houdyshell, Jake Cannavale, Jonny Orsini, Rosie Perez, and Jerry Adler. The production will begin previews Monday, February 2, and open on Thursday, March 5 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Additional casting will be announced at a later date.
