Sean 'Diddy' Combs and CIROC' Vodka Celebrate New Year's Eve in Saint Barts

Sean "Diddy" Combs and CIROC Ultra Premium Vodka head back to the brand's French roots and board the S.S. Oasis in Saint Barts to ring in 2015. The After-Party event is hosted by the Official Vodka of New Year's and takes place in the early morning hours on January 1, 2015. In addition to specialty themed CIROC cocktails, those in attendance will enjoy food selections prepared by Chef Tom Checketts. Music on the vessel will be provided by DJ Kiss and DJ M.O.S. The star-studded guest list for the evening includes Combs' personal circle of close friends and family. Celebrities that have attended prior Combs and CIROC New Year's Eve activities both stateside and abroad include Beyonce, Jay Z, Robin Thicke, Rihanna, and Queen Latifah.

Ruslan Biryukov, renowned cellist, mentor and pedagogue will appear as the Cello Soloist in the World Premiere Performance of composer Masatoshi Mitsumoto's 2nd Cello Concerto, Jan. 11, which will be the centerpiece of a program presented by the Cal State LA Department of Music, Theatre and Dance and the Olympia Philharmonic Society in a concert entitled, "FROM BEETHOVEN TO MITSUMOTO," featuring the CalStateLA Symphony Orchestra and Olympia Youth Orchestra performing together in concert under the baton of Fung Ho, Music Director and Conductor.

Full disclosure, I was completely ready to despise everything about the remake of ANNIE starring Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhane Wallis. In fact, I had already written the lede in my head, and let me tell you, it was scathing. But, then I saw the movie, and was pleasantly surprised by how not completely horrible it was. Yes, it will probably still rank as one of the worst big screen musical adaptations of the past decade; just above the disastrous NINE; but there was plenty to appreciate for musical theatre lovers young and old.
