Join 2013 Kleban Award-winning songwriter Daniel Mate and a group of top-notch singing actors for an evening of eclectic, insightful, and thoroughly contagious theater songs. The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) announced additional casting and creatives for the 25th Annual Festival of New Musicals on Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).
Monstersongs will be performed Sunday, October 20th at (le) poisson rouge at 10 p.m. with doors opening at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. To purchase tickets, visit www.libratheater.org or www.lepoissonrouge.com.

Joe sent us this synopsis for his latest creative endeavor: What if musical theater legend Annie Golden starred in a show as a bad-ass action hero?' That was the idea that led to this musical, Annie Golden: Bounty Hunter, Yo, which uses the conventions---both theatrical and musical---of 70's blaxploitation films to tell the story of a widowed down-on-her-luck theatre actress who becomes a bounty hunter and goes on a journey of self-discovery and serious ass-kicking.
Max Crumm (Grease, F#%king Up Everything), Daniel J. Edwards (Anything Goes), Sevan Greene, Adam Halpin (Dogfight, Glory Days), Patty Nieman, Eileen Patterson, Aaron Riesebeck, Katie Thompson (Giant, Big Fish) and Carrington Vilmont (Phantom of the Opera) will be joining the concert cast of 22@54.
