PRiMA Theatre to Welcome Broadway's Stephen Schwartz

During the past several years, PRiMA Theatre, a non-profit organization that produces theatrical experiences at a variety of venues in the region, has brought some of musical theatre's top actors and vocalists to the area. This upcoming season boasts a bevy of Broadway's biggest stars.

Long Wharf Theatre travels back in time to the romance and fun of Montmartre in the late 1800s in its production of the musical My Paris, an imaginative retelling of the life of the artist Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, directed by Tony Award-winning director Kathleen Marshall, with music from the legendary French performer Charles Aznavour, and a book by Pulitzer Prize-winner Alfred Uhry, and with English lyrics and musical adaptations by Tony-winner Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years). Nashville Rep Hosts Auditions for 2016-17 Season

Nashville Repertory Theatre will hold Open Call Auditions on May 18 and 19 at the Nashville Public Television building at 161 Rains Avenue. Auditions are by appointment only. Casting will be done for the five shows in Nashville Rep's 2016-17 season.

Following the wildly successful concert version at The Geary Theater in spring 2015, American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) presents a brand-new, fully staged production of Jason Robert Brown's acclaimed musical, THE LAST FIVE YEARS, running May 11-June 5, 2016. Under the direction of Michael Berresse - with Musical Direction by Matt Castle – THE LAST FIVE YEARS stars Margo Seibert (Rocky on Broadway, Tamar of the River at Prospect Theater Company) as Cathy and Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia on Broadway, Once Upon a Mattress at Transport Group) as Jamie -- with just a few days until the first curtain, A.C.T. has unveiled a pair of sneak peek performances!

Sierra Stages Adds Pair of Performances of THE LAST FIVE YEARS

Sierra Stages has extended the run of 'THE LAST FIVE YEARS' and added two performances on Friday May 13 at 8 PM and Saturday May 14 at 8 PM at the Off Center Stage in Grass Valley. All seats for both performances are only $15.

LaChanze to Join Jason Robert Brown at SubCulture on 5/15

A concert series curated by the renowned Tony Award-winning composer, lyricist, conductor, and director, Jason Robert Brown. Each unique performance will incorporate an eclectic mix of material, featuring music from throughout his acclaimed career, along with new works in development. Next Sunday, May 15th, Tony winner LaChanze will become Brown's latest guest in the series!

THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY Tour Coming to Kennedy Center, 6/28-7/17
