The 10th Annual New York Innovative Theatre Awards Ceremony will celebrate the Off-Off-Broadway Theatre community and honor this past season's greatest achievements. The awards will be presented by celebrities from the theatre community at large.
The off-Broadway theatre company, Bedlam, which received critical acclaim and multiple award nominations for its recent productions of Saint Joan and Hamlet, will present the North American Premiere of Anya Reiss' adaptation of The Seagull by Anton Chekhov, and the World Premiere of Kate Hamill's adaptation of Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility. Both will be directed by Eric Tucker.
On Monday, July 21, 2014, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 10 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2014 nominees at its annual event.
