Geraint Wyn Davies and Yanna McIntosh to Star in Stratford's ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, Opening 8/14

With a string of hit musicals to his credit at Stratford, including 42nd Street, Camelot, Evita and West Side Story, director Gary Griffin returns to the classics in his fifth Festival season with Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra. Starring Geraint Wyn Davies and Yanna McIntosh, the tragic drama begins previews on Sunday, August 3, at Stratford's Tom Patterson Theatre. The production officially opens on Thursday, August 14.

Kino Lorber Acquires North American Rights to Alex & Andrew Smith's WINTER IN THE BLOOD

Kino Lorber announced today that the company is acquiring North American rights to WINTER IN THE BLOOD, from directors Alex Smith and Andrew Smith (THE SLAUGHTER RULE). The film, which is based on the landmark novel by James Welch, features Chaske Spencer (TWILIGHT SAGA), David Morse (THE HURT LOCKER, WORLD WAR Z), and Julia Jones (TWILIGHT SAGA). The film had its World Premiere in Narrative Competition at the Los Angeles Film Festival and has won several awards and played at over thirty film festivals. WINTER IN THE BLOOD will open theatrically at IFC Center, New York on August 20th with filmmakers and key cast members in attendance. Los Angeles screenings and additional markets will follow in September.

Noel Coward's HAY FEVER Begins Previews at Stratford Festival

Last season, the Stratford Festival staged a wildly popular production of Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit; this season, another Coward classic will be presented at the Avon Theatre, the outrageously witty Hay Fever. Directed by Alisa Palmer, this hilarious comedy began previews on Wednesday and officially opens on Thursday, June 19.

CRAZY FOR YOU Begins Previews Tonight at Stratford Festival, Kicks Off 2014 Season

Fresh from her triumph with last season's hit musical, Fiddler on the Roof, acclaimed director and choreographer Donna Feore returns for her 20th Festival season with an exciting new production of Crazy for You specially conceived for the Festival Theatre's thrust stage. The new Gershwin musical begins previews tonight, April 21, marking the first performance of the 2014 season.

In 2005, Patric appeared on Broadway as 'Brick' in a revival of Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, opposite starred Ashley Judd, Ned Beatty and Margo Martindale. He next appeared on Broadway opposite Brian Cox, Chris Noth, Kiefer Sutherland and Jim Gaffigan in a revival of his father Jason Miller's play, That Championship Season, which began previews on February 9, 2011 and closed on May 29, 2011.

Jamie Chrisopherson Composes Soundtrack & Score for METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE

Award-winning film, TV and video game composer Jamie Christopherson (Lost Planet 1 & 2, Spiderman: Web of Shadows) was commissioned by PlatinumGames to write both the score and songs for Konami's upcoming action title developed by Kojima Productions and PlatinumGames Inc., METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE. Albums of both will be available on February 19th, the same day that the METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE video game will be released.
