Elyssa Rabinowitz, in association with All Out Arts and New Village Productions present the World-premeire of Dan Fingerman's new play THE AUSTERITY OF HOPE about a group of 20-something gay friends living, loving and growing in Astoria Queens - starring Max Rhyser (INBETWEENMEN.com) and directed by Dan Dinero as part of the 9th Annual Fresh Fruit Festival at The Barrow Group Theatre (312 West 36th Street), with performances Monday, July 18th at 5PM; Tuesday, July 19th at 8:45PM; Thursday, July 21st at 9PM; and Saturday, July 23rd at 3:30PM.

Ballet Eclectic and COCAdance, conclude their 2009-2010 season with work from their repertoire on April 12th. Student dancers, many of whom will attend post-secondary dance programs, are privileged to perform work by choreographers including Matt Kent, Kate Skarpetowska, Antony Tudor (re-staged by Sally Brayley Bliss), Trey McIntyre (restaged by Jason Hartley) and Alvin Ailey's Antonio Douthit and Kirven J. Boyd.

Ciulla Replacing Winningham in Old Globe's WHISPER HOUSE

Celeste Ciulla will replace Mare Winningham in the role of 'Aunt Lily' at the Old Globe's world premiere production of 'Whisper House' beginning February 8 citing 'scheduling reasons' for the replacement. Ciulla last appeared on the Old Globe stage during its 2009 Shakespeare Festival in 2009, playing Volumnia in Coriolanus.

Grammy and Tony award-winning songwriter and composer Duncan Sheik returns with his new album WHISPER HOUSE, from Sony Music. WHISPER HOUSE marks Sheik's first solo album since 2006's critically-acclaimed White Limousine and comes on the heels of the success of Spring Awakening. WHISPER HOUSE, which will have its world premiere at the Old Globe Theatre in January 2010, is a collaboration with up-and-coming young playwright Kyle Jarrow, already an Obie winner for A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant.
