In his first solo New York club date in over ten years, the singer and actor Philip Chaffin celebrates the success of his latest recording, 'When the Wind Blows South,' in an exclusive three-week engagement at The Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, beginning Wednesday May 6 at 7:30pm. The album, Chaffin's third, was released last year by PS Classics.

The new Broadway musical-comedy, 9 To 5: The Musical starring four-time Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Allison Janney, Stephanie J. Block, Megan Hilty, and two-time Tony Award nominee Marc Kudisch began preview performances on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 and opened last night, Thursday, April 30, 2009, at the Marriott Marquis Theatre (1535 Broadway).

East of Doheny has announced that it will present an invitation-only reading of the new screwball musical comedy My Man Godfrey on Friday, March 6, 2009. The musical, based on the book by Eric Hatch and the Universal Pictures film starring Carole Lumbard and William Powell, features music and lyrics by Tony Award-winner Mark Hollmann (Urinetown, The Musical) and book by Tony Award-winner Rupert Holmes (Curtains, The Mystery by Edwin Drood). Matthew August (Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas) directs.

'Broadway's Golden Couple' Concert Starring Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley will be Saturday, February 28 at 8:00 p.m.
Marin Mazzie is a three-time Tony nominee for Passion, Ragtime, and the hit revival of Kiss Me, Kate. Jason Danieley made his Broadway debut in the Harold Prince-directed revival of Candide, going on to make heads turn in The Full Monty and Carnegie Hall's concert version of South Pacific.
