Classical Theatre Of Harlem Presents A CHRISTMAS CAROL IN HARLEM

The Classical Theatre of Harlem (Ty Jones, Producing Artistic Director) presents A Christmas Carol in Harlem, based on the timeless work by Charles Dickens. A Christmas Carol in Harlem is adapted by Shawn Rene Graham, directed by Steve H. Broadnax III and choreographed by Tiffany Rea-Fisher. This re-imagining of the classic Christmas tale will include some original music and classic holiday carols tinged with gospel, hip-hop, pop and R&B influences, which celebrate the spirit of the season the Harlem way.

Between Two Boroughs gave Broadway World an exclusive sneak peek inside rehearsals for their upcoming World Premiere of Charise Greene's Cannibal Galaxy: a love story, directed by Jenn Haltman which will run at the New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street between Washington and Greenwich Street), June 8-17. The cast features Jason C. Brown* (Much Ado About Nothing with Classics in Color; The Misanthrope with NYTW), Robin Galloway* (The Master Builder with Wallace Shawn; Sense & Sensibility with Cape Fear), Olivia Oguma* (Luce with LCT3; Emotional Creature with Signature), Dominic F. Russo (Gruff! The Musical with Vital Theatre; 'Gotham' on NBC), Becca Schneider (Platonov and A Christmas Carol with Blessed Unrest), and Jo Yang* (Comfort Women at Urban Stages; 'The Affair' on Showtime). 

Much Ado About Classics In Color

Classics in Color: An INclusive Theatre Company (CiC) brings the classical story of 'Much Ado About Nothing' in Shakespeare's words to present day New York City, March 21st - 25th, 2018. 'Much Ado' is CiC's first full solo production as a company, allowing its mission to shine in every aspect of the production: inclusive casting, inclusive producing team, inclusive team of designers, performed in a fully accessible venue, for audiences and actors with, or without, disabilities.

Brenda Braxton, Jason C. Brown & More to Lead WIKIMUSICAL at NYMF, 7/18-26

WikiMusical with a Book and Lyrics by Frank Ceruzzi & Blake J. Harris; Music by Trent Jeffords is being presented at the New York Musical Theatre Festival with performances at PTC Performance Space (Pearl Theatre Company), 555 West 42nd Street, NYC. Performances will be: Friday, July 18 at 8pm; Saturday, July 19 at 5pm; Sunday, July 20 at 8pm; Tuesday, July 22 at 5:00 pm; and Saturday, July 26 at 9pm. The multi-talented cast of 12 will perform a dozen musical numbers. They are: Brenda Braxton (Spam King), Jason C. Brown (Narrator/Morgan Freeman), Trey Harrington (Kurt), Michael Mahany (Adam Levine/Mark Zuckerberg), Noah Marlowe (Young Peter), Alison Novelli (Jacqui), Heather Jane Rolff (Mrs. Oglesby), Lucas Schultz (Young Kurt), Barry Shafrin (Mittens McMittens/Emoticon), Adam B. Shapiro (Santa/Jeeves), Perry Sherman (Peter), and Bob Walton (Mr. Oglesby).
