LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES Finds Full Broadway Company for Fall

Full casting has been announced for the Donmar Warehouse production of Christopher Hampton's Les Liaisons Dangereuses, starring Tony Award winners Janet McTeer and Liev Schreiber, directed by the Donmar's Artistic Director Josie Rourke.

Elena Kampouris Joins Cast of LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES on Broadway

Elena Kampouris (My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2; Men, Women & Children) will make her Broadway debut as 'Cecile Volanges' alongside Tony Award winners Janet McTeer and Liev Schreiber in the Donmar Warehouse production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Christopher Hampton, directed by the Donmar's Artistic Director Josie Rourke.

Birgitte Hjort Sorensen Will Join Janet McTeer and Liev Schreiber in LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES on Broadway

Danish actress Birgitte Hjort Sorensen (Pitch Perfect 2, 'Vinyl') will make her Broadway debut as 'Madame de Tourvel' alongside Tony Award winners Janet McTeer and Liev Schreiber in the Donmar Warehouse production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Christopher Hampton, directed by the Donmar's Artistic Director Josie Rourke. Ms. Sorensen previously appeared on the Donmar stage in Ms. Rourke's 2014 production of Coriolanus opposite Tom Hiddleston.

Lori Zimmer and Natalie Kates to Display CALM BEFORE THE STORM, Today

Curators Lori Zimmer and Natalie Kates are pleased to present “Calm Before the Storm,” a two-person show by Logan Hicks and Beau Stanton, which opens October 17th from 7-9pm at the Highline Loft.  Taking inspiration from nautical superstition, flood myths, classical paintings, life changing events and the modern issue of rising seas, the artists have created new paintings, multiples, and a site-specific installation of a reconstructed ship and captain's study. A special print release party with 1xRun will take over the space on October 22nd. In honor of Halloween, the show will conclude with a costume party, “Sailors, Sirens and Sea Monsters”, in honor of maritime folklore on October 28th. The exhibition and installation will be set to an original score by Luv Jonez.

Paper Mill Announces Winners of 20th Annual Rising Star Awards

(Millburn, NJ) June 2, 2015 - As one of the nation's leading regional theaters and producing partners for Broadway, Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) has a well-earned reputation for launching both performers and shows for the Great White Way.  Since their inception in 1996, the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theatre have ignited the careers of many notable performers, all of whom attended high school in New Jersey.  Among the early nominees and winners are Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables), Tony Award winners Laura Benanti (Gypsy) and Nikki M. James (The Book of Mormon), Tony nominee Rob McClure (Chaplin), and UK Olivier Award nominee Jared Gertner (The Book of Mormon - West End)  The 2015 Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards ceremony took place at Paper Mill Playhouse on Tuesday, June 2, at 7:30pm, featuring presenters from Broadway and beyond. Union High School won the coveted title of Outstanding Overall Production and left Paper Mill Playhouse with a total of nine Rising Star Awards.  

Jan McArt's New Play Reading Series Presents EAST HAMPTON, LAST SUMMER, 11/3

'EAST HAMPTON, LAST SUMMER,' a new comedy with music by award-winning playwright Tony Finstrom, will be presented as a Staged Reading for one night only, at 7:30 PM on Monday, November 3rd, 2014, in Lynn University's Wold Performing Arts Center, as part of Jan McArt's New Play Reading Series.

Princeton Day School Takes Home Seven Rising Star Awards; Paper Mill Announces 2014 Winners!

The 2014 Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards ceremony took place at Paper Mill Playhouse on Tuesday, June 3rd at 7:30pm with an audience of over 1,200. Princeton Day School came out on top, winning Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical for their production of Urinetown. A total of 29 awards were presented along with five scholarships and other cash prizes.

LUCKY GUY Enters Final Week of Performances on Broadway

LUCKY GUY, starring two-time Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, is now in its final performances on Broadway. The production, the final work by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe, was extended by popular demand through Wednesday, July 3 when it ends its record-breaking limited engagement at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street).
