Buffalo Theatre Ensemble (BTE) presents its 2013-2014 Season featuring two laugh-out-loud comedies and a heart-warming musical. The first work of the season will be staged in the Building K Theatre, the space that has housed BTE's productions during the 14-month renovation of the McAninch Arts Center (MAC). Then, in January 2014, BTE returns to the MAC for the remainder of the season.

The Peterborough Players will celebrate Independence Day with the opening of the musical I Do! I Do!, which runs from July 4 - 15, 2012. Tickets for the special July 4th holiday performance are 2 for $40. Tickets for the Saturday, July 7, performance are $25 for anyone 35 years old or younger (ID required).For other performances, tickets are $37 except for Saturdays, $39.
In an interview with the South Bend Tribune, Short confirmed that things are still moving forward, saying that although he's busy providing voices for several upcoming films and working on his concert special, 'I have found, the more eclectic the year, the more you add to this overview of things' and adding that he and Peters are still in talks for the revival.
The New York Times reports that Bernadette Peters and Martin Short are in talks with producers about co-starring as 'Agnes Snow' and 'Michael Snow' in a revival of Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt's I DO I DO. Talks about the possible revival are in the earliest phases and no readings or workshops have been planned. The producers behind the revival are Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Promises, Promises, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Smash), and Broadway Across America's John Gore and Beth Williams.
