Pioneer Theatre Company presents The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams, October 21 - November 5, 2016.

Entertainment One Music (eOne Music) collected 15 Dove Award nominations, announced today for the upcoming 2016 GMA Dove Awards taking place this fall, with a dominating presence across the categories of Gospel Artist of the Year with 2 artists nominated, and Contemporary Gospel/Urban Album of the Year with 3 artists nominated.  Also collecting nominations in Traditional Gospel, Urban Worship, and Video categories, eOne Music's releases over the past year span a diverse collection, from 9 solo artists and choirs nominated across 8 categories. 

The national tour of the new musical comedy BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, will make its Dallas premiere June 14-26 at the Music Hall at Fair Park presented by Dallas Summer Musicals.

Wit is a 90 minute one act play by Margaret Edson that tells the story of Vivian Bearing, a renowned English professor who has been diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer. During the course of her illness, Vivian comes to reassess her life and her work with a profundity and humor that are transformative both for her and the audience.

Under the Artistic Direction of Casey Hushion, NC Theatre's production of WIT is directed by Kate Galvin, stars Kate Goehring and features Tony Award-winner Daisy Eagan (Susie Monahan, R.N., B.S.N.). The thought-provoking story will run in the AJ Fletcher Opera Theater at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh through May 8, 2016. The Jon Robin Baitz story of family dysfunction in the wealthy Republican enclaves of Palm Springs gets an intimate and brilliantly performed production at the Fulton's Studio Theatre.

The Fulton Theatre presents the explosive family drama Other Desert Cities as it closes out it's 2015/2016 Studio Series. A finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Other Desert Cities will play in the intimate 99-seat black box theatre through March 6th.

?Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for the Chicago premiere of BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath (Beautiful) for the 1994 film, will go on sale on Friday, February 19.  The staged production of this worldwide smash-hit film will play the newly named The PrivateBank Theatre (18 W. Monroe) April 19 through May 1, 2016.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Broadway's Matt Scott, who was last seen by Goodspeed audiences in the 2013 production of SNAPSHOTS at The Norma Terris Theatre, will assume the role of 'Sam Wainwright' for the remainder of the run of A WONDERFUL LIFE at Goodspeed Opera House through December 6th.
