The cast for the upcoming Broadway musical, Finding Neverland, has begun rehearsals; but, according to Deadline, Roger Bart has backed out of the production. He was set to play Charles Frohman, an American theatre producer from the turn of the century nineteenth century.

Earlier today, The New York Post's Michael Riedel reported that the highly anticipated new musical FINDING NEVERLAND, which tells the story of J.M. Barrie and the creation of 'Peter Pan,' has received a coveted performance slot in this Sunday's Tony Awards, to be broadcast live on CBS. Now, Jennifer Hudson has just announced via Twitter that she will sing from the new musical. She writes: 'So excited ! I'll be performing a song from the upcoming musical Finding Neverland @TheTonyAwards ! Tune in this Sun at 8/7c. #TonyAwards'

Canadian Stage's Shakespeare in High Park returns this summer with a Shakespearean double bill at the High Park Amphitheatre (1873 Bloor St. W.), pairing the pastoral comedy, As You Like It, with the bard's first tragedy, Titus Andronicus. Outdoors and under the stars, the plays run on alternate nights from June 26 to Aug. 31, Tuesday to Sunday at 8 p.m. Each performance is pay-what-you can, with a suggested contribution of $20. The productions are presented by Canadian Stage in collaboration with the Department of Theatre, York University.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Managing Director William Russo, has announced the remaining production planned for its 2014/15 Season: Father Comes Home From the Wars (Parts 1, 2 & 3), written by Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Jo Bonney, in a co-production with The Public Theater in New York. Fathom Events, National Theatre Live (NT Live) and BY Experience have come together again to broadcast the National Theatre's original stage production of 'War Horse,' pre-recorded live from London's West End, for only one night in cinemas across the country tonight, Feb. 27 at 7:00 p.m. local time. Based on Michael Morpurgo's novel and adapted for the stage by Nick Stafford, 'War Horse' takes audiences on a journey from the fields of rural Devon to the trenches of France during World War I. Filled with stirring music and songs, this powerfully moving and imaginative drama is a show of phenomenal inventiveness. At its heart are astonishing life-size puppets by South Africa's Handspring Puppet Company, who bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to life on stage.

For the first time ever, a broadcast from National Theatre Live will be shown at New York City's legendary Ziegfeld Theatre (141 West 54th Street) on February 27th at 7:00 p.m. The broadcast can also be seen in New York at Cinema 123 (1001 3rd Avenue) with encore dates/times to follow.
