The cast for the upcoming Broadway musical, Finding Neverland, has begun rehearsals; but, according to Deadline, Roger Bart has backed out of the production. He was set to play Charles Frohman, an American theatre producer from the turn of the century nineteenth century.

Hudson, along with Alica Keys and Taylor Swift, will most likely be involved in a 'Finding Neverland' concept album, set to be released shortly before the show comes to Broadway.

BWW has now received offiial confirmation that while Jordan will not appear on Sunday night's broadcast, Jennifer Hudson will perform a song from the upcoming musical.

Earlier today, The New York Post's Michael Riedel reported that the highly anticipated new musical FINDING NEVERLAND, which tells the story of J.M. Barrie and the creation of 'Peter Pan,' has received a coveted performance slot in this Sunday's Tony Awards, to be broadcast live on CBS. Now, Jennifer Hudson has just announced via Twitter that she will sing from the new musical. She writes: 'So excited ! Canadian Stage's Shakespeare in High Park returns this summer with a Shakespearean double bill at the High Park Amphitheatre (1873 Bloor St. W.), pairing the pastoral comedy, As You Like It, with the bard's first tragedy, Titus Andronicus. Outdoors and under the stars, the plays run on alternate nights from June 26 to Aug. 31, Tuesday to Sunday at 8 p.m. Each performance is pay-what-you can, with a suggested contribution of $20. The productions are presented by Canadian Stage in collaboration with the Department of Theatre, York University.
