Tony Award-winning stage and screen Jane Alexander is set to star in the new indie film Lillian, Next Door, from SXSW Audience Award-winning director Janice Engel.

The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) will host its first-ever Music Documentary Film Festival in Stony Brook, NY, from August 8–10, 2025, featuring 24 music films, live performances, and Q&As with filmmakers and artists.

The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) has announced the lineup of films to be screened and the expected guests at its first-ever LIMEHOF Music Documentary Film Festival, taking place August 8th-10th.

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 24 - February 3, 2019.

On Friday, February 26, City Players enjoyed a spectacular opening night of the World Premiere drama UTOPIA written by and starring David Douglas and Martin Head, directed by Katherine Whitney. Opening night festivities were attended by Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey and members of the Royal Palms Recovery Center who provided rehearsal space for the production.The SOLD OUT audience awarded the production with a well-deserved standing ovation.

Ron Raines has joined the cast of Dating & Auditioning: the Web Series. In place of actors James Egan and Torrey Wigfield, new cast members Lee Chrisman and Conrad Le Bron also join the show.

Zachary Booth, Patch David, Tyler Dean, Rachel Bahler, Harry Barandes, and Torrey Wigfield will make appearances in a new web series entitled Dating & Auditioning that will premier this fall.

Culver City Public Theatre (CCPT) opens its 14th season of free family friendly summer shows July 14th in Dr. Paul Carlson Park. All performances are open to the public. Founded in 1998, CCPT (a donation and grant supported 501c3 non-profit) is a member of the American Association of Community Theatres (AACT).
