Today USA Network revealed the first promo and key art for its new music showcase series REAL COUNTRY featuring five-time GRAMMY Award(R)-winning trailblazer Shania Twain, platinum-selling singer-songwriter Jake Owen and GRAMMY Award(R)-winning music legend Travis Tritt. From Wilshire Studios, the eight-part series will premiere Tuesday, November 13 at 10/9c, and has Twain, Nicolle Yaron, Stijn Bakkers and Leslie Garvin set to executive produce.

Chris Janson Adds First Los Angeles Headlining Show to Tour

Platinum-selling and chart-topping country artist Chris Janson has announced his first ever headlining show in Los Angeles, along with his upcoming “Waitin' On 5” fall tour that will stop in markets such as Kansas City, Sacramento, and Ft. Worth. This tour punctuates an exciting year for Janson, which saw the rising star win MusicRow's Song of the Year award for “Drunk Girl,” receive three Country Music Association Award nominations including New Artist of the Year, and become the youngest living member of the Grand Ole Opry. Schimmel Center presents all-female alt-country group Farewell Angelina-named one of Rolling Stone's Fall 2016 '10 New Country Artists You Need To Know'- today, October 5, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. The concert features a special performance-Farewell Angelina's debut of 'I Feel You,' written by Kevin Bacon, and performed together with Michael Bacon, Paul Guzzone, and Frank Vilardi of The Bacon Brothers. 'I Feel You' is the bonus track of Farewell Angelina's new EP, set to be released in 2019, and the concert also offers a sneak peek of other songs set to be on the album. The evening is hosted by Paul Guzzone.

For his birthday this year, DEE JAY SILVER received an extra special gift from a city near and dear to his heart when Friday, September 21 was officially proclaimed 'Dee Jay Silver Day' in Las Vegas by Mayor Carolyn Goodman. The groundbreaking DJ/remixer/producer/radio host received the declaration while onstage at Rehab Pool at the Hard Rock Hotel headlining his final appearance at the famed pool party, where he's held a residency for the last four consecutive years. Throughout the last decade, DEE JAY SILVER has hosted various residencies in Las Vegas at hotspots including Hyde Nightclub, Foundation Room, LAX Nightclub and Body English, in addition to his annual appearances at the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) events and the National Finals Rodeo, where he returns this December, among others. He'll be back in the city this Sunday, September 30 to headline Omnia Nightclub.

CMA Songwriters Series Announces Los Angeles Performance with Florida Georgia Line, Corey Crowder, HARDY, and Tree Vibez

The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance at The Novo in Los Angeles Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7:00 PM featuring four-time CMA Awards-winning duo Florida Georgia Line alongside songwriters Corey Crowder, HARDY, and Tree Vibez Music special guests. The series hosts intimate performances with some of Country Music's most exciting songwriting talent taking turns telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. Tickets for the performance go on sale Friday, Sept. 21 at 12:00 PM/CT at CMAsongwritersseries.com. Tickets range in price from $50-75. 

Country Music Association Visits Students in Houston

The Country Music Association visited Houston yesterday, Monday, Sept. 17, with Josh Kerr, Maddie & Tae and Jon Nite, joining the CMA Foundation to meet with students at Waltrip High School followed by a CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank performance at The Heights Theater. Monday afternoon, the songwriters visited Waltrip High School in the Houston Independent School District (HISD), participating in two band classes and a Q&A session, in addition to being treated to special performances by the students in each class.
